1 Corinthians 7:40
Print
But she is happier if she so remain, in my judgment; and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she abide as she is, after my judgment: and I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion a widow is happier if she stays as she is. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God [in this matter].
But in my opinion [a widow] is happier (more blessed and to be envied) if she does not remarry. And also I think I have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she remains as she is, in my opinion. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion, she will be happier if she stays the way she is. And I think that I have God’s Spirit too.
However, in my opinion, she will be happier if she remains unmarried, and in saying this I think I have God’s Spirit.
However, I think I am obeying God's Spirit when I say she would be happier to stay single.
But she is happier if she so remain, according to my judgment; but I think that *I* also have God's Spirit.
But she is happier if she remains thus, according to my opinion; and I also think that I have the Spirit of God.
But more blessed shall she be, if she so remain, according to my counsel; and I think that I also have the spirit of God.
The woman is happier if she does not marry again. This is my opinion, and I believe that I have God’s Spirit.
I do think that she would be happier if she remains without a husband. That is what I think, and God's Spirit also helps me with this.
But she is more blessed if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I too have God’s Spirit.
Yet in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
Yet in my judgement she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
The woman is ·happier [better off; more blessed] if she ·does not marry again [L remains as she is]. This is my ·opinion [perspective; judgment], but I believe I also have God’s Spirit [C Paul affirms he is speaking for God].
But she is more blessed, if she so abide in my judgment: and I think that I have also the Spirit of God.
However, she will be more blessed if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I, too, have God’s Spirit.
She will be happier, however, if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I too have God's Spirit.
But she is happier if she remains as she is, in my opinion. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
The woman is happier if she does not marry again. This is my opinion, and I believe that I have God’s Spirit.
However, in my opinion she will be happier if she stays as she is. And in saying this, I think that I, too, have God’s Spirit.
A woman is bound to her husband while he is alive, but if he dies she is free to marry whom she likes—but let her be guided by the Lord. In my opinion she would be happier to remain as she is, unmarried. And I think I am here expressing not only my opinion, but the will of the Spirit as well.
But she shall be more blessed if she so abides, after my counsel, and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she remains thus, according to my opinion—and I think I have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she will be happier if she doesn’t marry again; and I think I am giving you counsel from God’s Spirit when I say this.
A wife must stay with her husband as long as he lives. If he dies, she is free to marry anyone she chooses. She will, of course, want to marry a believer and have the blessing of the Master. By now you know that I think she’ll be better off staying single. The Master, in my opinion, thinks so, too.
But in my judgment she is happier if she so remains as she is. And I think that I have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she will be happier if she remains as she is. · And I believe that I too have the Spirit of God.
However, she will be more blessed if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I, too, have God’s Spirit.
She is more blessed, though, in my opinion, if she remains as she is, and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she is happier if she remains as she is; and I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she is happier if she remains as she is; and I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
However, in my opinion she is happier if she remains as she is, and I believe that I too have the Spirit of God.
The woman is happier if she does not marry again. This is my opinion, but I believe I also have God’s Spirit.
But in my opinion, she will be happier if she remains as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God!
In my opinion, she is happier if she stays single. And I also think that I am led by the Spirit of God in saying this.
In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is – and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
But she is happier if she remains as she is, according to my judgment—and I think I also have the Spirit of God.
I think she will be much more happy if she does not get married again. This is what I think. I believe it is what the Holy Spirit is saying.
But in my opinion it would be better for her to stay single, and I think I am giving you counsel from God’s Spirit when I say this.
But she is happier if she remains as she is, in my judgment. And I think indeed that I have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgement she is more blessed if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgement she is more blessed if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgment she is more blessed if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she is more blessed if she remains as she is. And I think that I, too, have the Spirit of God.
But in my opinion she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think I too have the spirit of God.
However, happy is she, and even more so, if she remains as she is; and I think in this bit of wisdom I am offering that I have the Ruach Hakodesh.
But she is more blessed if she so remains, in my judgment. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I have the Spirit of God.
But in my judgment she is happier if she stays as she is—and I also think that I have the Ruach Elohim.
You can likely guess that in my opinion this woman would be better off to remain single, and I think that I have this insight from God’s Spirit.
But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I also have God’s Spirit.
But I think that she is happier if she stays as she is and does not marry again. (I think too that I am saying what the Spirit of God wants me to say in this matter.)
But she shall be more blessed, if she dwelleth thus [if she shall thus dwell], after my counsel; and I ween, that I have the Spirit of God.
and she is happier if she may so remain -- according to my judgment; and I think I also have the Spirit of God.
