For when ye sin so against the brethren and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
And thus, sinning against the brethren, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, ye sin against Christ.
And when you sin against the brothers and sisters in this way and wound their weak conscience [by confusing them], you sin against Christ.
And when you sin against your brethren in this way, wounding and damaging their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
Now when you sin like this against brothers and sisters and wound their weak conscience, you are sinning against Christ.
You sin against Christ if you sin against your brothers and sisters and hurt their weak consciences this way.
and so, when you sin against the brothers by wounding their conscience when it is weak, you are sinning against the Messiah!
When you sin by hurting a follower with a weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Now, thus sinning against the brethren, and wounding their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
And in this manner sinning against the brothers and striking their conscience while being weak, you are sinning against Christ.
Now when you sin thus against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against your brothers and sisters in Christ in this way and you hurt them by causing them to do things they feel are wrong, you are also sinning against Christ.
If you do that kind of bad thing to hurt your Christian friends, you are hurting Christ himself. You are causing them to do something which they think is wrong.
And when you sin in this way against your brothers and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against your brothers and sisters in Christ like this and ·cause them to do what they feel is wrong [L wound their weak conscience], you are also sinning against Christ.
Now when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
When you sin against other believers in this way and harm their weak consciences, you are sinning against Christ.
And in this way you will be sinning against Christ by sinning against other Christians and wounding their weak conscience.
Now when you sin like this against the brothers and wound their weak conscience, you are sinning against Christ.
When you sin against your brothers in Christ like this and cause them to do what they feel is wrong, you are also sinning against Christ.
When you sin against your brothers in this way and wound their weak consciences, you are sinning against the Messiah.
In this matter, then, of eating meat which has been offered to idols, knowledge tells us that no idol has any real existence, and that there is no God but one. For though there are so-called gods both in heaven and earth, gods and lords galore in fact, to us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything comes, and for who we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom everything exists, and by whom we ourselves are alive. But this knowledge of ours is not shared by all men. For some, who until now have been used to idols, eat the meat as meat really sacrificed to a god, and their delicate conscience is thereby injured. Now our acceptance of God is not a matter of meat. If we eat it, that does not make us better men, nor are we the worse if we do not eat it. You must be careful that your freedom to eat meat does not in any way hinder anyone whose faith is not as robust as yours. For suppose you with your knowledge of God should be observed eating meat in an idol’s temple, are you not encouraging the man with a delicate conscience to do the same? Surely you would not want your superior knowledge to bring spiritual disaster to a weaker brother for whom Christ died? And when you sin like this and damage the weak consciences of your brethren you really sin against Christ. This makes me determined that, if there is any possibility of meat injuring my brother, I will have none of it as long as I live, for fear I might do him harm.
In this manner, therefore, sinning against the brethren and wounding their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
And in that way, by sinning against the brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
Now if you sin in this way against the brothers and wound their conscience, which is weak, you sin against Christ.
And it is a sin against Christ to sin against your brother by encouraging him to do something he thinks is wrong.
Christ gave up his life for that person. Wouldn’t you at least be willing to give up going to dinner for him—because, as you say, it doesn’t really make any difference? But it does make a difference if you hurt your friend terribly, risking his eternal ruin! When you hurt your friend, you hurt Christ. A free meal here and there isn’t worth it at the cost of even one of these “weak ones.” So, never go to these idol-tainted meals if there’s any chance it will trip up one of your brothers or sisters. * * *
When you thus sin against the brothers, wounding their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
So · when you sin against your brothers and wound their · conscience, being weak, you are sinning against Christ.
When you sin against other believers in this way and harm their weak consciences, you are sinning against Christ.
When you sin in this way against your brothers and wound their consciences, weak as they are, you are sinning against Christ.
And so, by sinning against the brothers and sisters and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
And so, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
And when you sin against your brethren and wound their weak consciences, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against your brothers and sisters in Christ like this and cause them to do what they feel is wrong, you are also sinning against Christ.
If you sin against your brothers or sisters in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Suppose you sin against them in this way. Then you harm their weak sense of what is right and wrong. By doing this, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
When you sin against a weak Christian by making him do what is wrong, you sin against Christ.
And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ.
When you sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak consciences, you sin against Christ.
But when you thus sin against members of your family, and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
But when you thus sin against members of your family, and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
But when you thus sin against members of your family, and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
But when you thus sin against brothers and sisters and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
That means you’ll be sinning against your brother or sister, and attacking their weak conscience; and in doing this you’ll be sinning against the Messiah.
And thus by sinning against the Achim b’Moshiach and wounding their weak matzpunim (consciences), you commit averos against Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach.
Now when you sin so against the brothers, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Thus, sinning against your brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
Thus, sinning against your brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
In this way, when you sin against the brothers and sisters and wound their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Messiah.
What’s more, by living according to your knowledge, you have sinned against these brothers and sisters and wounded their weak consciences—and because you sinned against them, you have sinned against the Anointed One, the Liberating King.
Thus, sinning against the brothers, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
In this way you do wrong to your brother. You hurt him because he is weak. And in so doing you do wrong to Christ.
For thus ye sinning against brethren, and smiting their frail conscience [and smiting their sick conscience], sin against Christ.
and thus sinning in regard to the brethren, and smiting their weak conscience -- in regard to Christ ye sin;
