1 Peter 3:3

When adorning yourselves, let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing gold, or of putting on apparel;
Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel;
Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes;
Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning with [elaborate] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes;
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
Don’t let your beauty consist of outward things like elaborate hairstyles and wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes,
Don’t try to make yourselves beautiful on the outside, with stylish hair or by wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Your beauty should not consist in externals such as fancy hairstyles, gold jewelry or what you wear;
Don't depend on things like fancy hairdos or gold jewelry or expensive clothes to make you look beautiful.
whose adorning let it not be that outward one of tressing of hair, and wearing gold, or putting on apparel;
of whom let what is observed  be not the outside adornment consisting of a braiding of hair and a wearing of gold things or putting-on of garments,
Whose adorning let it not be the outward plaiting of the hair, or the wearing of gold, or the putting on of apparel:
It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful.
Think about what makes you beautiful. The way that you prepare your hair does not really make you beautiful. Gold things or beautiful clothes do not make you beautiful.
Do not let your beauty be something outward, such as braided hair or wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—
Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewellery, or the clothing you wear—
It is not [L external things like] ·fancy [braided; elaborate] hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should ·make you beautiful [L be your adornment].
Whose appareling let it not be that outward, with braided hair, and gold put about, or in putting on of apparel:
Wives must not let their beauty be something external. Beauty doesn’t come from hairstyles, gold jewelry, or clothes.
You should not use outward aids to make yourselves beautiful, such as the way you fix your hair, or the jewelry you put on, or the dresses you wear.
Your beauty should not consist of outward things like elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold ornaments or fine clothes.
It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful.
Your beauty should not be an external one, consisting of braided hair or the wearing of gold ornaments and dresses.
In the same spirit you married women should adapt yourselves to your husbands, so that even if they do not obey the Word of God they may be won to God without any word being spoken, simply by seeing the pure and reverent behaviour of you, their wives. Your beauty should not be dependent on an elaborate coiffure, or on the wearing of jewellery or fine clothes, but on the inner personality—the unfading loveliness of a calm and gentle spirit, a thing very precious in the eyes of God. This was the secret of the beauty of the holy women of ancient times who trusted in God and were submissive to their husbands. Sara, you will remember, obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. And you have become, as it were, her true descendants today as long as you too live good lives and do not give way to hysterical fears.
Let their adorning not be outward with ostentatious hairdos and wearing of gold nor in composition of apparel,
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on garments;
Let your adornment not be the external kind, braiding hair and putting on gold jewelry or putting on fine clothing,
Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty that depends on jewelry, or beautiful clothes, or hair arrangement.
The same goes for you wives: Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs. There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated by your life of holy beauty. What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in. The holy women of old were beautiful before God that way, and were good, loyal wives to their husbands. Sarah, for instance, taking care of Abraham, would address him as “my dear husband.” You’ll be true daughters of Sarah if you do the same, unanxious and unintimidated.
Do not let your adorning be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine clothing.
Do not let your beauty be · external—such as braiding the hair, · wearing gold jewelry, or dressing up in fine clothes—
Wives must not let their beauty be something external. Beauty doesn’t come from hairstyles, gold jewelry, or clothes.
Your adornment should not be an external one: braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or dressing in fine clothes,
Your adornment must not be merely the external—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on apparel;
Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses;
Do not seek to adorn yourself externally—by the braiding of your hair and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothing.
It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful.
Let your beauty not be external—the braiding of hair and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes—
Fancy hairstyles don’t make you beautiful. Wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes doesn’t make you beautiful.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes.
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—
Do not let your beauty come from the outside. It should not be the way you comb your hair or the wearing of gold or the wearing of fine clothes.
Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes.
Your adornment should not be outward, with broided hair and hanging on of gold, or in putting on gorgeous apparel,
Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing;
Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing;
Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing;
Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing;
The beauty you should strive for ought not to be the external sort—elaborate hairdressing, gold trinkets, fine clothes!
Do not let your adornment be outward, with coiffures and with wearing gold or fine apparel,
Do not let your adornment be outward, braiding your hair or putting on gold or worldly garments.
Let not yours be the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing,
Let not yours be the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of robes,
Don’t let your beauty be external—braiding the hair and wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Don’t focus on decorating your exterior by doing your hair or putting on fancy jewelry or wearing fashionable clothes;
Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing;
You should not be fine on the outside only. Some women make their hair nice. They wear gold things. They have fine clothes.
Of whom be there not withoutforth curious adorning of hair, either doing about of gold, either adorning of clothing; [Of which be not withoutforth curious adorning of hair, or doing about of gold, or adorning of clothing of vestments;]
whose adorning -- let it not be that which is outward, of plaiting of hair, and of putting around of things of gold, or of putting on of garments,
