1 Peter 4:2

that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
so that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living for human appetites and desires, but [lives] for the will and purpose of God.
So that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living by [his] human appetites and desires, but [he lives] for what God wills.
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.
As a result, they don’t live the rest of their human lives in ways determined by human desires but in ways determined by God’s will.
with the result that he lives the rest of his earthly life no longer controlled by human desires, but by God’s will.
It means you have turned from your own desires and want to obey God for the rest of your life.
no longer to live the rest of [his] time in [the] flesh to men's lusts, but to God's will.
so as to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for the desires of humans, but for the will of God.
That now he may live the rest of his time in the flesh, not after the desires of men, but according to the will of God.
Strengthen yourselves so that you will live your lives here on earth doing what God wants, not the evil things that people want to do.
As a result, that person will want to do what God wants him to do. In his life in this world, he will not want to do the bad things that people think are good.
Do this so that you no longer live the rest of your time in the flesh for human desires but for God’s will.
so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.
·Strengthen [Arm] yourselves so that you will live ·here on earth [L the rest of the time in the flesh] doing ·what God wants [the will of God], ·not the evil things people want [or not pursuing your own human desires].
That he hence forward should live (as much time as remaineth in the flesh) not after the lusts of men, but after the will of God.
That way you won’t be guided by sinful human desires as you live the rest of your lives on earth. Instead, you will be guided by what God wants you to do.
From now on, then, you must live the rest of your earthly lives controlled by God's will and not by human desires.
in order to live the remaining time in the flesh, no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.
Strengthen yourselves so that you will live your lives here on earth doing what God wants, not doing the evil things that people want.
so that he can live the rest of his mortal life guided, not by human desires, but by the will of God.
Since Christ had to suffer physically for you, you must fortify yourselves with the same inner attitude that he must have had. You must realise that to be dead to sin inevitably means pain, and you should not therefore spend the rest of your time here on earth indulging your physical nature, but in doing the will of God. Our past life may have been good enough for pagan purposes, though it meant sensuality, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousals and worshipping forbidden gods. Indeed your former companions may think it very queer that you will no longer join with them in their riotous excesses, and accordingly say all sorts of unpleasant things about you. Don’t worry: they are the ones who will have to explain their behaviour before the one who is prepared to judge all men, whether living or dead. (For that is why the dead also had the Gospel preached to them—that it might judge the lives they lived as men and give them also the opportunity to share the eternal life of God in the spirit.)
so that now the time that remains in the flesh, he might live, not unto the lusts of men, but unto the will of God.
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
so as to no longer live the rest of the time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for the will of God.
and you won’t be spending the rest of your life chasing after evil desires but will be anxious to do the will of God.
Since Jesus went through everything you’re going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you’ll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want.
so that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh serving human desires, but the will of God.
so that you no longer live your remaining days in the flesh concerned about human desires but about the will of God.
That way you won’t be guided by sinful human desires as you live the rest of your lives on earth. Instead, you will be guided by what God wants you to do.
so as not to spend what remains of one’s life in the flesh on human desires, but on the will of God.
so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.
so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
and for the remainder of life on earth must be ruled not by human passions but by the will of God.
Strengthen yourselves so that you will live here on earth doing what God wants, not the evil things people want.
in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.
As a result, they don’t live the rest of their earthly life for evil human desires. Instead, they live to do what God wants.
As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
You should no longer spend the rest of your life giving in to the sinful desires of the flesh. But do what God wants as long as you live in this world.
You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God.
that he henceforward should live as much time as remains in the flesh, not after the lusts or desires of men, but after the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of your earthly life no longer by human desires but by the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of your earthly life no longer by human desires but by the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of your earthly life no longer by human desires but by the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of your time in the flesh no longer by human desires but by the will of God.
so as to live the rest of their mortal life no longer according to human desires but according to God’s will.
So as no longer to live the remaining time of the Olam Hazeh in the basar, in the ta’avot Bnei Adam (lusts of men), but in the ratzon Hashem (will of G-d).
so that henceforth (as much time as remains in the flesh) he should not live after the lusts of man, but after the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer by human passions but by the will of God.
so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer by human passions but by the will of God.
As a result, he lives the rest of his time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.
so that you may live the rest of your life on earth controlled not by earthly desires but by the will of God.
that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
For the rest of his life on earth he will not do what people want to do. He will do what God wants him to do.
that that is left now of time in flesh live not now to the desires of men, but to the will of God. [that he live not now to the desires of men, but to the will of God, that that is more of time in flesh.]
no more in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;
