Then David placed Asaph and his relatives, together with Obed-edom and sixty-eight of his relatives, to minister there continually before the chest containing the Lord’s covenant, following the routines required on each day.
So, there before the ark for the covenant of Adonai, David left Asaf and his kinsmen to perform the service regularly before the ark, as each day’s work required;
David chose Asaph and the Levites in his clan to be in charge of the daily worship at the place where the sacred chest was kept.
And he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to do the service before the ark continually, as every day's duty required;
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, Asaph and his brethren to minister in the presence of the ark continually day by day, and in their courses.
Then David left Asaph and his brothers there in front of the Box of the Lord’s Agreement. David left them there to serve in front of it every day.
King David had chosen Asaph and his relatives to serve the Lord at the Covenant Box. They must do that each day, as the rules said that they should do.

¶ Then he left there before the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant Asaph and his brethren to minister continually before the Ark, that which was to be done every day:
David left Asaph and his relatives to serve continually in front of the ark of the Lord’s promise, as the daily work required.
King David put Asaph and the other Levites in permanent charge of the worship that was held at the place where the Covenant Box was kept. They were to perform their duties there day by day.
So David left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the Lord’s covenant to minister regularly before the ark according to the daily requirements.
Then David left Asaph and the other Levites there in front of the Ark of the Covenant with the Lord. They were to serve there every day.
Later David left the presence of the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord so Asaph and his fellow descendants of Levi could serve the ark there continually each day, doing whatever was required.

David arranged for Asaph and his fellow Levites to minister regularly at the Tabernacle, doing each day whatever needed to be done.
David left Asaph and his coworkers with the Chest of the Covenant of God and in charge of the work of worship; they were responsible for the needs of worship around the clock. He also assigned Obed-Edom and his sixty-eight relatives to help them. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun and Hosah were in charge of the security guards. The priest Zadok and his family of priests were assigned to the Tent of God at the sacred mound at Gibeon to make sure that the services of morning and evening worship were conducted daily, complete with Whole-Burnt-Offerings offered on the Altar of Burnt Offering, as ordered in the Law of God, which was the norm for Israel. With them were Heman, Jeduthun, and others specifically named, with the job description: “Give thanks to God, for his love never quits!” Heman and Jeduthun were also well equipped with trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments for accompanying sacred songs. The sons of Jeduthun formed the security guard.

Therefore David left there, before the ark of [the] bond of peace of the Lord, Asaph and his brethren, for to minister in the sight of the ark, or before the ark, continually, by all days and their whiles. (And so David left Asaph and his kinsmen there, before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, to serve continually before the Ark, in all the days of their service, that is, first one, and then another.)
And he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,
