Now if Christ is preached, that He rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

But now if Christ (the Messiah) is preached as raised from the dead, how is it that some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

So if the message that is preached says that Christ has been raised from the dead, then how can some of you say, “There’s no resurrection of the dead”?
But if it has been proclaimed that the Messiah has been raised from the dead, how is it that some of you are saying there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead?
If we preach that Christ was raised from death, how can some of you say the dead will not be raised to life?
Now if Christ is preached that he is raised from among [the] dead, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead?
But if Christ is being proclaimed that He has been raised from the dead, how is it some are saying among you that there is no resurrection of dead ones?
Now if Christ be preached, that he arose again from the dead, how do some among you say, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
We tell everyone that Christ was raised from death. So why do some of you say that people will not be raised from death?
We all speak this message: God raised Christ up after his death. But some of you say that dead people do not live again.
Now if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how is it that some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

¶ Now if it be preached, that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
If we have told you that Christ has been brought back to life, how can some of you say that coming back from the dead is impossible?
Now, since our message is that Christ has been raised from death, how can some of you say that the dead will not be raised to life?
Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say, “There is no resurrection of the dead”?
It is preached that Christ was raised from death. So why do some of you say that people will not be raised from death?
Now if we preach that the Messiah has been raised from the dead, how can some of you keep claiming there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if the rising of Christ from the dead is the very heart of our message, how can some of you deny that there is any resurrection? For if there is no such thing as the resurrection of the dead, then Christ was never raised. And if Christ was not raised then neither our preaching nor your faith has any meaning at all. Further it would mean that we are lying in our witness for God, for we have given our solemn testimony that he did raise up Christ—and that is utterly false if it should be true that the dead do not, in fact, rise again! For if the dead do not rise neither did Christ rise, and if Christ did not rise your faith is futile and your sins have never been forgiven. Moreover those who have died believing in Christ are utterly dead and gone. Truly, if our hope in Christ were limited to this life only we should, of all mankind be the most to be pitied!
¶ Now if the Christ is preached that rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

But tell me this! Since you believe what we preach, that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying that dead people will never come back to life again?
Now, let me ask you something profound yet troubling. If you became believers because you trusted the proclamation that Christ is alive, risen from the dead, how can you let people say that there is no such thing as a resurrection? If there’s no resurrection, there’s no living Christ. And face it—if there’s no resurrection for Christ, everything we’ve told you is smoke and mirrors, and everything you’ve staked your life on is smoke and mirrors. Not only that, but we would be guilty of telling a string of barefaced lies about God, all these affidavits we passed on to you verifying that God raised up Christ—sheer fabrications, if there’s no resurrection.

Now if it is preached that Christ is risen from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if Messiah is proclaimed—that He has been raised from the dead—how can some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Now if we have told you about the Anointed One (how He has risen from the dead and appeared to us fully alive), then how can you stand there and say there is no such thing as resurrection from death?
Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
You have been told that Christ was raised from death. How can some of you say that dead people do not rise again?
And if Christ is preached, that he rose again from death [from dead], how say some men among you [how say some in you], that the again-rising of dead men is not?
And if Christ is preached, that out of the dead he hath risen, how say certain among you, that there is no rising again of dead persons?
