1 Corinthians 7:7
Print
For I would that all men were even as I myself am. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one in this manner and another in that.
Yet I would that all men were even as I myself. Howbeit each man hath his own gift from God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I wish that all the people were as I am; but each person has his own gift from God, one of this kind and one of that.
I wish that all men were like I myself am [in this matter of self-control]. But each has his own special gift from God, one of this kind and one of another.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I wish that all people were as I am. But each has his own gift from God, one person has this gift, another has that.
I wish all people were like me, but each has a particular gift from God: one has this gift, and another has that one.
Actually, I wish everyone were like me; but each has his own gift from God, one this, another that.
I wish all of you were like me, but God has given different gifts to each of us.
Now I wish all men to be even as myself: but every one has his own gift of God: one man thus, and another thus.
And I wish that all people were as indeed myself! But each has his own gift from God— one in this manner and another in this manner.
For I would that all men were even as myself: but every one hath his proper gift from God; one after this manner, and another after that.
I wish everyone could be like me. But God has given each person a different ability. He makes some able to live one way, others to live a different way.
It would be good if all of you could live in the way that I do. But each person has his own gift from God. God helps one person to live in a certain way. God helps another person with a different gift.
For I wish all people were like me, but each person has his own gift from God. One person is blessed in this way, another in a different way.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
I wish that everyone were like me [C unmarried], but each person has his own gift from God. One has one gift, another has another gift.
For I would that all men were even as I myself am: but every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I would like everyone to be like me. However, each person has a special gift from God, and these gifts vary from person to person.
Actually I would prefer that all of you were as I am; but each one has a special gift from God, one person this gift, another one that gift.
I wish that all people were just like me. But each has his own gift from God, one person in this way and another in that way.
I wish everyone were like me. But each person has his own gift from God. One has one gift, another has another gift.
I would like everyone to be unmarried, like I am. However, each person has a special gift from God, one this and another that.
I give the advice above more as a concession than as a command. I wish that all men were like myself, but I realise that everyone has his own particular gift from God, some one thing and some another. Yet to those who are unmarried or widowed, I say definitely that it is a good thing to remain unattached, as I am. But if they find they have not the gift of self-control in such matters, by all means let them get married. I think it is far better for them to be married than to be tortured by unsatisfied desire.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one after this manner and another after that.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one this way, and another that.
I wish all people could be like myself, but each one has his own gift from God, one in this way and another in that way.
I wish everyone could get along without marrying, just as I do. But we are not all the same. God gives some the gift of a husband or wife, and others he gives the gift of being able to stay happily unmarried.
Sometimes I wish everyone were single like me—a simpler life in many ways! But celibacy is not for everyone any more than marriage is. God gives the gift of the single life to some, the gift of the married life to others.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man has his proper gift from God, one after this manner and another after that.
I wish · that all men were as · I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
I would like everyone to be like me. However, each person has a special gift from God, and these gifts vary from person to person.
Indeed, I wish everyone to be as I am, but each has a particular gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each has his own gift from God, one in this way, and another in that.
Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that.
I wish that all of you would be as I myself am. However, each person has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.
I wish that everyone were like me, but each person has his own gift from God. One has one gift, another has another gift.
I wish that everyone was as I am. But each has his own gift from God, one this way, another that.
I wish all of you were single like me. But you each have your own gift from God. One has this gift, and another has that one.
I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.
I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.
For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.
I wish everyone were as I am, but each has his own gift from God. One has one gift. Another has another gift.
But I wish everyone were single, just as I am. Yet each person has a special gift from God, of one kind or another.
For I would that all men were as I myself am. But every one has his own gift from God – one of this kind, another of that.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.
I would be happy to see everyone be in the same situation as myself. But each person has his or her own gift from God, one this way, another that way.
But, I wish kol Bnei Adam even to be as I am; however, [this is impossible since] each has his own matanah (gift) from Hashem: one this; and another that.
For I would that all were still as I myself. But everyone has his proper gift from God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own special gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own special gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.
Yet I wish that all men were like me. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this way and another that.
I wish that all of you could live as I do, unmarried. But the truth is all people are different, each gifted by God in various and dissimilar ways.
Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.
I wish that all men were like I am. But God has made everyone different. One man can live one way and another man can live another way.
For I will, that all men be as myself. But each man hath his proper gift of God; one thus, and another thus.
for I wish all men to be even as I myself [am]; but each his own gift hath of God, one indeed thus, and one thus.
