1 John 2:2
Print
And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
And He [that same Jesus] is the propitiation for our sins [the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature—our worldliness, our lifestyle]; and not for ours alone, but also for [the sins of all believers throughout] the whole world.
And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our’s only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
He is God’s way of dealing with our sins, not only ours but the sins of the whole world.
Also, he is the kapparah for our sins — and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
Christ is the sacrifice that takes away our sins and the sins of all the world's people.
and *he* is the propitiation for our sins; but not for ours alone, but also for the whole world.
And He Himself is the satisfaction for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world’s.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
Jesus is the way our sins are taken away. And he is the way all people can have their sins taken away too.
Jesus died as a sacrifice to take the punishment for our sin. Then God could forgive us. Jesus did that not only for us. He did it for all people in the world, so that God could forgive them for their sins.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the whole world.
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
He ·died in our place to take away [is the atoning sacrifice/T propitiation for] our sins [C his death pays the penalty and removes God’s anger from us; 4:10; Rom. 3:25; Heb. 2:17], and not only our sins but the sins of ·all people [L the whole world].
And he is the reconciliation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the payment for our sins, and not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the whole world.
And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of everyone.
He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
Jesus died in our place to take away our sins. And Jesus is the way that all people can have their sins taken away, too.
It is he who is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world’s.
I write these things to you (may I call you “my children”—for that’s how I think of you), to help you to avoid sin. But if a man should sin, remember that our advocate before the Father is Jesus Christ the righteous, the one who made personal atonement for our sins (and for those of the rest of the world as well).
and he is the reconciliation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
and he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the one who took God’s wrath against our sins upon himself and brought us into fellowship with God; and he is the forgiveness for our sins, and not only ours but all the world’s.
I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s. Here’s how we can be sure that we know God in the right way: Keep his commandments.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
· He is the propitiation for · our sins, and not for · ours only, but also for those of the entire world.
He is the payment for our sins, and not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is expiation for our sins, and not for our sins only but for those of the whole world.
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
He is himself the sacrifice for our sins— and not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world.
He died in our place to take away our sins, and not only our sins but the sins of all people.
and he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.
He gave his life to pay for our sins. But he not only paid for our sins. He also paid for the sins of the whole world.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
He paid for our sins with His own blood. He did not pay for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.
He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for our sins only, but also for the sins of all the world.
and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the sacrifice which atones for our sins—and not ours only, either, but those of the whole world.
And he is the kapporah for chattoteinu, not for ours only, but also for the kol HaOlam Hazeh. [VAYIKRA 5:15; YESHAYAH 53:10]
And He is the reconciliation for our sins; and not only for ours, but also for the whole world.
and he is the expiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
and he is the expiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the atonement for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.
It was through His sacrificial death that our sins were atoned. But He did not stop there—He died for the sins of the whole world.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
He himself is the sacrifice God offered to pay for the wrong we have done. And he pays for the wrong things all people in all the world have done.
and he is the forgiveness for our sins; and not only for our sins [and he is helping for our sins; soothly not only for ours], but also for the sins of all the world.
and he -- he is a propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world,
