For it shall be that on the day thou goest out and passest over the Brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain that thou shalt surely die; thy blood shall be upon thine own head.”

For on the day you leave and cross over the Brook Kidron, know for certain that you shall surely die; your blood shall be on your own head.”

If you try to leave, be advised that on the day you cross the Kidron Valley you will most certainly die. Your bloodguilt will be on your own head.”
Know for a fact that on the day you go out and cross Vadi Kidron, you will certainly die; your blood will be on your own head.”
If you ever cross Kidron Valley and leave Jerusalem, you will be killed. And it will be your own fault.”
And it shall be that on the day thou goest forth, and passest over the torrent of Kidron, … know for certain that thou shalt surely die: thy blood shall be upon thine own head.
For on what day soever thou shalt go out, and shalt pass over the brook Cedron, know that thou shalt be put to death: thy blood shall be upon thy own head:
If you leave the city and go any further than Kidron Brook, you will be killed, and it will be your own fault.”
If you ever leave the city and you cross the Kidron stream, you will certainly die. That will be a death that you choose for yourself.’
On the day you go out and cross the Kidron Valley, you can be sure that you will die. Your blood will be on your own head.”

For that day that thou goest out, and passest over the river of Kidron, know assuredly, that thou shalt die the death: thy blood shall be upon thine own head.
But the day you leave and cross the brook in the Kidron Valley, you can be certain that you will die. You will be responsible for your own death.”
If you ever leave and go beyond Kidron Brook, you will certainly die—and you yourself will be to blame.”
On the day you do leave and cross the Kidron Valley, know for sure that you will certainly die. Your blood will be on your own head.”
If you leave and go past Kidron Valley, someone will kill you. And it will be your own fault.”
If you ever leave and cross the Kidron Brook, you can be sure that you’ll die. You’ll be responsible for your own death.”

The king now sent for Shimei and told him, “Build a house here in Jerusalem, and don’t step outside the city on pain of death. The moment you go beyond Kidron Brook, you die; and it will be your own fault.”
The king next called in Shimei and told him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there, but you are not to leave the area. If you so much as cross the Brook Kidron, you’re as good as dead—you will have decreed your own death sentence.”
For on the day you go out and pass over the Kidron Valley, know for certain that you will surely die. Your blood shall be on your own head.”

You would be wise to heed my warning because, mark my words, whenever you cross the Kidron stream toward your ancestral home, you will meet your death. And it will be your own fault.
