Then Jonathan left there and camped against Ashkelon, and the people of the city came out to meet him with great ceremony.
And Jonathan removed his army from thence, and camped against Ascalon: and they went out of the city to meet him with great honour.
Jonathan left and set up camp at Ascalon, where the people of the city came out to welcome him with great honors.
Then Jonathan left there and encamped at Askalon, and the people of that city came out to meet him with great pomp.
