Then they asked Simon to grant them terms of peace, and he did so. He removed them from there and took possession of the town. He appointed troops to guard it.
And they desired him to make peace, and he granted it them: and he cast them out from thence, and took the city, and placed a garrison in it.
The people asked for peace terms, and Simon agreed. He then took over the town, drove the people out, and stationed a detachment of troops there.
They appealed to him, and he granted them terms of peace. He expelled them from the city, took possession of it, and put a garrison there.
