When Judas came to the stream of water, he stationed the scribes of the people there and issued this command: “Don’t let anyone start to make camp. Instead, force them all to enter the battle.”
Now when Judas came near the torrent of water, he set the scribes of the people by the torrent, and commanded them, saying: Suffer no man to stay behind: but let all come to the battle.
When Judas reached the bank of the river, he gave orders to his officers to let no one stop but to push everyone forward into battle.
But when Judas reached the flowing wadi, he stationed the officers of the people beside it and gave them this order: “Do not allow anyone to encamp; all must go into battle.”
When Judas reached the stream, he stationed the scribes of the people alongside it and gave them this command, “Do not allow anyone to encamp, but order them all to enter the battle.”
