For, “He that would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.

For, “The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not], Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit).
For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery, deceit).
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,
For those who want to love life and see good days should keep their tongue from evil speaking and their lips from speaking lies.
For “Whoever wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,
“Do you really love life? Do you want to be happy? Then stop saying cruel things and quit telling lies.
For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
For “the one desiring to love life and see good days— let him stop his tongue from evil and his lips that they not speak deceit;
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
The Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy true life and have only good days, then avoid saying anything hurtful, and never let a lie come out of your mouth.
The Bible says this: ‘Do you want to enjoy your life? Do you want to be happy? Then you must be careful not to say evil things. Do not tell any lies.
Indeed: Let the one who wants to love life and to see good days keep his tongue from evil and his lips from saying anything deceitful.
For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

“People who want to live a full life and enjoy good days must keep their tongues from saying evil things, and their lips from speaking deceitful things.
As the scripture says, “If you want to enjoy life and wish to see good times, you must keep from speaking evil and stop telling lies.
For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,
The Scripture says, “A person must do these things to enjoy life and have many, happy days. He must not say evil things. He must not tell lies.
“For the person who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
To sum up, you should all be of one mind living like brothers with true love and sympathy for each other, generous and courteous at all times. Never pay back a bad turn with a bad turn or an insult with another insult, but on the contrary pay back with good. For this is your calling—to do good and one day to inherit all the goodness of God. For: ‘He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile: let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil’.

If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies.
Summing up: Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions. No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless—that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing. Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, Here’s what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful; Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you’re worth. God looks on all this with approval, listening and responding well to what he’s asked; But he turns his back on those who do evil things.

It is written in the psalms, If you love life and want to live a good, long time, Then be careful what you say. Don’t tell lies or spread gossip or talk about improper things.

The holy writings say,`A man who wants to live and have good days must not say wrong things. He must not say anything that is not true.
