The next morning, Saul sent guards to arrest David. But Michal told them, “David is sick.”
And Saul sent messengers to take David, and she said, He is sick.
And Saul sent officers to seize David: and it was answered that he was sick.
Saul sent messengers to take David prisoner. But Michal said, “David is sick.”
Saul sent some of his men to take hold of David. Michal told them that David was ill.
When Saul sent messengers to capture David, she said, “He is sick.”
And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, “He is sick.”
And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, “He is sick.”
Saul sent ·messengers [agents; soldiers] to take David prisoner, but Michal said, “He is sick.”

When the soldiers came to arrest David and take him to Saul, she told them he was sick and couldn’t get out of bed.
Saul sent men to David’s house to stake it out and then, first thing in the morning, to kill him. But Michal, David’s wife, told him what was going on. “Quickly now—make your escape tonight. If not, you’ll be dead by morning!” She let him out of a window, and he made his escape. Then Michal took a dummy god and put it in the bed, placed a wig of goat’s hair on its head, and threw a quilt over it. When Saul’s men arrived to get David, she said, “He’s sick in bed.”
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, “He is sick.”
When Saul sent messengers to get David, Michal said, “He’s sick.”

When the troops came to arrest David, she told them he was sick and couldn’t get out of bed.
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, ‘He is sick.’
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, ‘He is sick.’
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, “He is sick.”
When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, “He is sick.”
And when Sha’ul sent malachim to capture Dovid, she said, He is choleh (ill).

When Saul’s officers came to take David to the king, she told them, “He’s sick.”

Forsooth Saul sent sergeants, that should ravish David, and it was answered, that he was sick. (Then when Saul’s sergeants entered to take hold of David, she said that he was sick.)
And Saul sendeth messengers to take David, and she saith, `He [is] sick.'
