1 Timothy 1:8

But we know that the law is good if a man use it lawfully,
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully,
Now we know [without any doubt] that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully and appropriately,
Now we recognize and know that the Law is good if anyone uses it lawfully [for the purpose for which it was designed],
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
But we know that the law is good, provided one uses it legitimately.
Now we know that the Law is good if used appropriately.
We know that the Torah is good, provided one uses it in the way the Torah itself intends.
We know the Law is good, if it is used in the right way.
Now we know that the law [is] good if any one uses it lawfully,
Now we know that the Law is good if one is using it lawfully,
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully:
We know that the law is good if someone uses it right.
We know that God's laws are good, if people use them properly.
Now, we know that the law is good as long as one uses it correctly—
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
But we know that the law [C the OT law of Moses] is good if someone uses it ·lawfully [legitimately; as God intended].
And we know, that the Law is good, if a man use it lawfully.
We know that the laws in Moses’ Teachings are good if they are used as they were intended to be used.
We know that the Law is good if it is used as it should be used.
But we know that the law is good, provided one uses it legitimately.
We know that the law is good if a man uses it right.
Of course, we know that the Law is good if a person uses it legitimately,
We know, of course, that the Law is good in itself and has a legitimate function. Yet we also know that the Law is not really meant for the good man, but for the man who has neither principles nor self-control, for the man who is really wicked, who has neither scruples nor reverence. Yes, the Law is directed against the sort of people who attack their own parents, who kill their fellows, who are sexually uncontrolled or perverted, or who traffic in the bodies of others. It is against liars and perjurers—in fact it is against any and every action which contradicts the wholesome teaching of the glorious Gospel which our blessed God has given and entrusted to me.
But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it legitimately,
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
But we know that the law is good, if anyone makes use of it lawfully,
Those laws are good when used as God intended.
It’s true that moral guidance and counsel need to be given, but the way you say it and to whom you say it are as important as what you say. It’s obvious, isn’t it, that the law code isn’t primarily for people who live responsibly, but for the irresponsible, who defy all authority, riding roughshod over God, life, sex, truth, whatever! They are cynical toward this great Message I’ve been put in charge of by this great God. * * *
But we know that the law is good if someone uses it lawfully.
Now we know that the law is good if someone uses it lawfully,
We know that the laws in Moses’ Teachings are good if they are used as they were intended to be used.
We know that the law is good, provided that one uses it as law,
But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
We are well aware that the Law is good, provided that one uses it properly,
But we know that the law is good if someone uses it lawfully.
But we know that the law is good if someone uses it legitimately,
We know that the law is good if it is used properly.
We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully,
We know the Law is good when it is used the way God meant it to be used.
We know that the law is good when used correctly.
We know that the law is good if one abides by it lawfully,
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately.
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately.
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately.
Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately;
We know, after all, that the law is good—if someone uses it lawfully!
But we know that the Torah is beneficial if anyone’s use of Torah is Torah-true.
And we know that the Law is good if one uses it lawfully,
Now we know that the law is good, if any one uses it lawfully,
Now we know that the law is good, if any one uses it lawfully,
But we know that the Torah is good if one uses it legitimately,
You and I know the law is good (if used in the right way), and
But we know that the law is good, if a person uses it lawfully,
We know that the law is good when anyone uses it in the right way.
And we know that the law is good, if any man use it lawfully;
and we have known that the law [is] good, if any one may use it lawfully;
