Print
But thou, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
But as for you, O man of God, flee from these things; aim at and pursue righteousness [true goodness, moral conformity to the character of God], godliness [the fear of God], faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness.
But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, run away from all these things. Instead, pursue righteousness, holy living, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you, as a man of God, flee from these things; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
Timothy, you belong to God, so keep away from all these evil things. Try your best to please God and to be like him. Be faithful, loving, dependable, and gentle.
But *thou*, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness of spirit.
But you, O man of God, be fleeing these things, and be pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But thou, O man of God, fly these things: and pursue justice, godliness, faith, charity, patience, mildness.
But you belong to God. So you should stay away from all those things. Always try to do what is right, to be devoted to God, and to have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
But you, Timothy, are a servant of God. So keep away from all bad things like that. Instead, always try to do what is right. Serve God in a way that pleases him. Choose to trust God and to love other people. Continue to be strong when you have trouble. Be kind to people.
But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
But you, man of God, ·run away from [flee] all those things. Instead, chase after [pursue] ·a right relationship with God [righteousness], a godly life [godliness; piety], faith, love, ·patience [perseverance; endurance], and gentleness.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.
But you, man of God, must avoid these things. Pursue what God approves of: a godly life, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, avoid all these things. Strive for righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, run from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you are a man of God. So you should stay away from all those things. Try to live in the right way, serve God, have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, must flee from all these things. Instead, you must pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you, the man of God, keep clear of such things. Set your heart not on riches, but on goodness, Christ-likeness, faith, love, patience and humility. Fight the worthwhile battle of the faith, keep your grip on that life eternal to which you have been called, and to which you boldly professed your loyalty before many witnesses.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, charity, tolerance, meekness.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
But you, O man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, gentleness.
But you, O man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patient endurance, gentleness.
O Timothy, you are God’s man. Run from all these evil things, and work instead at what is right and good, learning to trust him and love others and to be patient and gentle.
But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life—a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy. Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses.
But you, O man of God, escape these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But you, man of God, must avoid these things. Pursue what God approves of: a godly life, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, avoid all this. Instead, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, run away from all those things. Instead, live in the right way, serve God, have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
But you are a man of God. Run away from all these things. Try hard to do what is right and godly. Have faith, love and gentleness. Hold on to what you believe.
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

But you, man of God, turn away from all these sinful things. Work at being right with God. Live a God-like life. Have faith and love. Be willing to wait. Have a kind heart.
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
But you who are the man of God, flee such things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, love, patience, and gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
But you, man of God—you must run away from all this. Instead, chase after justice, godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness.
But you, ish haElohim (man of G-d), flee these things. Pursue tzedek, chasidus, emunah, ahavah, savlanut, and anavah.
But you, O man of God, flee these things! And pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; aim at righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; aim at righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Timothy, don’t let this happen to you—run away from these things! You are a man of God. Your quest is for justice, godliness, faithfulness, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
But you belong to God, Timothy. Have nothing to do with all this. But do what is right. Do what God wants you to do. Believe in Christ. Be loving. Be patient. Be kind.
But, thou, man of God, flee these things; but follow thou rightwiseness [soothly follow thou rightwiseness], piety, faith, charity, patience, mildness.
and thou, O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
