2 Chronicles 17:3

And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David and sought not unto the Baalim,
And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto the Baalim,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father (ancestor) David. He did not seek [to follow] the Baals [the false gods],
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father [David]. He did not seek the Baals
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;
Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the former ways of his ancestor David. He did not seek the Baals
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the earlier ways of his father by not seeking Baal.
Adonai was with Y’hoshafat, because he lived according to the first ways of his ancestor David, not seeking the ba‘alim,
When Jehoshaphat's father had first become king of Judah, he was faithful to the Lord and refused to worship the god Baal as the kings of Israel did. Jehoshaphat followed his father's example and obeyed and worshiped the Lord. And so the Lord blessed Jehoshaphat
And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat, for he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto the Baals;
And the Lord was with Josaphat, because he walked in the first ways of David his father: and trusted not in Baalim,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because in his young life he did the good things his ancestor David did. Jehoshaphat did not follow the Baal idols.
Jehoshaphat obeyed the Lord as his ancestor David had done when he first ruled as king. So the Lord was with him to help him. Jehoshaphat did not worship the idols of Baal.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the ways that his father David walked in the beginning. He did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he ·lived as his ancestor David had lived when he first became king [followed the earlier example/ways of his ancestor/father David]. Jehoshaphat did not ·ask for help from [seek; consult] the Baal idols,
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not Baalim,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, who lived in the old way like his ancestor David. Jehoshaphat didn’t dedicate his life to serving other gods—the Baals.
The Lord blessed Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father's early life and did not worship Baal.
Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the former ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baals
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he did good things. He lived as his father Asa did when he first became king. Jehoshaphat did not ask for help from the Baal idols.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the example set during his ancestor David’s preliminary years by not pursuing the Baals.
And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David and sought not unto the Baalim
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;
And Yahweh was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the ways of his father David’s earlier days and did not seek the Baals,
And Yahweh was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the former ways of David his father and did not seek after the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed in the good footsteps of his father’s early years and did not worship idols.
Asa’s son Jehoshaphat was the next king; he started out by working on his defense system against Israel. He put troops in all the fortress cities of Judah and deployed garrisons throughout Judah and in the towns of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured. God was on Jehoshaphat’s side because he stuck to the ways of his father Asa’s early years. He didn’t fool around with the popular Baal religion—he was a seeker and follower of the God of his father and was obedient to him; he wasn’t like Israel. And God secured the kingdom under his rule, gave him a firm grip on it. And everyone in Judah showed their appreciation by bringing gifts. Jehoshaphat ended up very rich and much honored. He was single-minded in following God; and he got rid of the local sex-and-religion shrines.
Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, for he walked in the previous ways of David his father, and he did not seek out the Baal cult.
Yahweh was with Jehoshaphat, who lived in the old way like his ancestor David. Jehoshaphat didn’t dedicate his life to serving other gods—the Baals.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, for he walked in the earlier ways of David his father, and did not seek the Baals.
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father David’s earlier days and did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father David’s earlier days and did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he had followed the example of his father from his earliest years and did not consult the Baals.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he lived as his ancestor David had lived when he first became king. Jehoshaphat did not ask for help from the Baal idols,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed in his ancestor David’s footsteps at the beginning of his reign. He did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat. That’s because he lived the way King David had lived. He didn’t ask for advice from the gods that were named Baal.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He did not consult the Baals
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He did not consult the Baals
Now the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the former ways of his father David; he did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the early ways of his father. He did not follow the false gods of Baal.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the example of his father’s early years and did not worship the images of Baal.
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Baals,
The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Baals
And Hashem was with Yehoshaphat, because he walked in the darkhei Dovid Aviv harishonim, and sought not unto Ba’alim;
The Lord was with Jehosh′aphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Ba′als,
The Lord was with Jehosh′aphat, because he walked in the earlier ways of his father; he did not seek the Ba′als,
Adonai was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David. He did not seek the Baalim
The Eternal was with Jehoshaphat because he ruled as David had throughout his reign and as his father Asa had at the beginning of his reign. Jehoshaphat did not seek the lords of foreign religions;
Yahweh was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and didn’t seek the Baals,
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, which went in the first ways of David, his father; he hoped not in Baalim, (And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, who went in the early ways of his father Asa; he did not trust in, or follow, the Baalim,)
And Jehovah is with Jehoshaphat, for he hath walked in the first ways of David his father, and hath not sought to Baalim,
