2 Peter 2:21

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they had known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them.
For never to have obtained a [full, personal] knowledge of the way of righteousness would have been better for them than, having obtained [such knowledge], to turn back from the holy commandment which was [verbally] delivered to them.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command delivered to them.
It would be better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having come to know it, to turn back from the holy commandment entrusted to them.
It would have been better for them not to have known the Way of righteousness than, fully knowing, to turn from the holy command delivered to them.
They would have been better off if they had never known about the right way. Even after they knew what was right, they turned their backs on the holy commandments they were given.
For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known [it] to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known, to turn-back from the holy commandment having been delivered to them.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of justice, than after they have known it, to turn back from that holy commandment which was delivered to them.
Yes, it would be better for them to have never known the right way. That would be better than to know the right way and then to turn away from the holy teaching that was given to them.
It would have been better for them if they had never known God's good way. But they did understand about the right things that God wants us to do. And then they turned away from that way of life. They stopped obeying God's good rules, that people had taught them.
In fact, it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command passed on to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
·Yes, [L For] it would be better for them to have never known the ·right way [or the way of righteousness] than to know it and to turn away from the holy ·teaching [L commandment; law] that was ·given [passed on; handed down] to them.
For it had been better for them not to have acknowledged the way of righteousness, than after they have acknowledged it, to turn from the holy commandment given unto them.
It would have been better for them never to have known the way of life that God approves of than to know it and turn their backs on the holy life God told them to live.
It would have been much better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than to know it and then turn away from the sacred command that was given them.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command delivered to them.
Yes, it would be better for them to have never known the right way. That would be better than to know the right way and then to turn away from the holy teaching that was given to them.
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to know it and turn their backs on the holy commandment that was committed to them.
If men have escaped from the world’s contaminations through knowing our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, and then become entangled and defeated all over again, their last position is far worse than their first. It would be better for them not to have known the way of goodness at all, rather than after knowing it to turn their backs on the sacred commandments given to them. Alas, for them, the old proverbs have come true about ‘a dog returns to his own vomit’, and “the sow that had been washed going back to wallow in the muck”.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known it, to turn back from the holy commandment that had been delivered to them.
It would be better if he had never known about Christ at all than to learn of him and then afterwards turn his back on the holy commandments that were given to him.
If they’ve escaped from the slum of sin by experiencing our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then slid back into that same old life again, they’re worse than if they had never left. Better not to have started out on the straight road to God than to start out and then turn back, repudiating the experience and the holy command. They prove the point of the proverbs, “A dog goes back to its own vomit” and “A scrubbed-up pig heads for the mud.”
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to have known it and then turn back from the holy commandment that was delivered to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have come to know the way of righteousness than, having come to know it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was delivered to them.
It would have been better for them never to have known the way of life that God approves of than to know it and turn their backs on the holy life God told them to live.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment handed down to them.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
It would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having known it, to turn back and abandon the holy commandment that was handed on to them.
Yes, it would be better for them to have never known the right way than to know it and to turn away from the holy teaching that was given to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having known it, to turn back from the holy commandment that had been delivered to them.
Suppose they had not known the way of godliness. This would have been better than to know godliness and then turn away from it. The way of godliness is the sacred command passed on to them.
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
After knowing the holy Law that was given to them, they turned from it. It would have been better for them if they had not known how to be right with God.
It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment given to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was passed on to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was passed on to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was passed on to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was handed on to them.
It would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment which had been given to them.
For better it was for them not to have da’as of the Derech HaTzidkanut (the Way of Righteousness) than, having known it, to turn away from the mitzvah hakedosha handed down to them.
For it had been better for them not to have acknowledged the way of righteousness than to turn from the holy commandment given to them after they have acknowledged it.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after learning about it, to turn back from the holy commandment passed on to them.
They would have been better off never knowing the way of righteousness than to have known it and then abandoned the sacred commandment they had previously received and dived back into the muck!
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
It would have been better for them if they had never known the right way! Because they knew the right way, it was very wrong for them to turn from the holy law God gave them.
For it was better to them to not know the way of rightwiseness, than to turn again after the knowing, from that holy commandment that was betaken to them.
for it were better to them not to have acknowledged the way of the righteousness, than having acknowledged [it], to turn back from the holy command delivered to them,
