2 Chronicles 25:2
Print
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, but not with a perfect heart.
He did right in the sight of the Lord, yet not wholeheartedly.
He did right in the Lord’s sight, but not with a perfect or blameless heart.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.
He did what was right in the Lord’s sight but not wholeheartedly.
He did what was right in the Lord’s eyes but not with all his heart.
He did what was right from Adonai’s perspective, but not wholeheartedly.
Even though Amaziah obeyed the Lord by doing right, he refused to be completely faithful.
And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, yet not with a perfect heart.
And he did what was good in the sight of the Lord: but yet not with a perfect heart.
Amaziah did what the Lord wanted him to do, but not with all his heart.
He did things that the Lord said were good. But he was not completely faithful.
He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord but not with a completely committed heart.
And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a whole heart.
And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a whole heart.
Amaziah did what ·the Lord said was right [L was pleasing/proper in the eyes/sight of the Lord], but ·he did not really want to obey him [not wholeheartedly].
And he did uprightly in the eyes of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.
He did what the Lord considered right, but he did not do it wholeheartedly.
He did what was pleasing to the Lord, but did it reluctantly.
He did what was right in the Lord’s sight but not wholeheartedly.
Amaziah did what the Lord said was right. But he did not really want to obey the Lord.
He practiced what the Lord considered to be right, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did what was right in the sight of Yahweh, yet not with a whole heart.
And he did what was right in the eyes of Yahweh, only not with a fully-devoted heart.
He did what was right, but sometimes resented it!
Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he became king and reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother was Jehoaddin from Jerusalem. He lived well before God, doing the right thing for the most part. But he wasn’t wholeheartedly devoted to God. When he had the affairs of the kingdom well in hand, he executed the palace guard who had assassinated his father the king. But he didn’t kill the sons of the assassins—he was mindful of what God commanded in The Revelation of Moses, that parents shouldn’t be executed for their children’s sins, nor children for their parents’. We each pay personally for our sins.
He did what was correct in the eyes of the Lord, only not with a complete heart.
He did what Yahweh considered right, but he did not do it wholeheartedly.
He did what was right in the Lord’s sight, though not wholeheartedly.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, only not wholeheartedly.
He did right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a whole heart.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, although he did not do so wholeheartedly.
Amaziah did what the Lord said was right, but he did not really want to obey him.
He did what the Lord approved, but not with wholehearted devotion.
Amaziah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. But he didn’t do it with all his heart.
He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not wholeheartedly.
He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not wholeheartedly.
And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart.
Amaziah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not with a whole heart.
Amaziah did what was pleasing in the Lord’s sight, but not wholeheartedly.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a true heart.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a true heart.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a true heart.
He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with a true heart.
And he did that which was yashar in the eyes of Hashem, but not with a levav shalem.
And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a blameless heart.
And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a blameless heart.
Now he did what was right in the eyes of Adonai, but not wholeheartedly.
He followed the Eternal, but was not completely devoted to Him for his entire life.
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, but not with a perfect heart.
And he did good in the sight of the Lord, nevertheless not in perfect heart. (And he did good before the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.)
and he doth that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah -- only, not with a perfect heart.
