2 Corinthians 3:5
Print
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as coming from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
Not that we are sufficiently qualified in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency and qualifications come from God.
Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
It is not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.
It isn’t that we ourselves are qualified to claim that anything came from us. No, our qualification is from God.
It is not that we are competent in ourselves to count anything as having come from us; on the contrary, our competence is from God.
We don't have the right to claim that we have done anything on our own. God gives us what it takes to do all we do.
not that we are competent of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our competency [is] of God;
not that we are sufficient from ourselves to count anything as out of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
Not that we are sufficient to think any thing of ourselves, as of ourselves: but our sufficiency is from God.
I don’t mean that we are able to do anything good ourselves. It is God who makes us able to do all that we do.
We know that we cannot do this work by ourselves. We never think that. But God makes us able to do it.
Not that we are competent by ourselves to claim that anything comes from us; rather, our competence is from God.
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,
We are not saying that we ·can do this work ourselves [L are able/competent/adequate to consider anything as from ourselves]. ·It is God who makes us able to do all that we do [L But our ability/competence/adequacy is from God].
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to think anything, as of ourselves: but our sufficiency is of God,
By ourselves we are not qualified in any way to claim that we can do anything. Rather, God makes us qualified.
There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God;
It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.
I do not mean that we are able to say that we can do this work ourselves. It is God who makes us able to do all that we do.
By ourselves we are not qualified to claim that anything comes from us. Rather, our credentials come from God,
We dare to say such things because of the confidence we have in God through Christ, and not because we are confident of our own powers. It is God who makes us competent administrators of the new agreement, and we deal not in the letter but in the Spirit. The letter of the Law leads to the death of the soul; the spirit of God alone can give life to the soul.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God,
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
and not because we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. Our only power and success comes from God.
We couldn’t be more sure of ourselves in this—that you, written by Christ himself for God, are our letter of recommendation. We wouldn’t think of writing this kind of letter about ourselves. Only God can write such a letter. His letter authorizes us to help carry out this new plan of action. The plan wasn’t written out with ink on paper, with pages and pages of legal footnotes, killing your spirit. It’s written with Spirit on spirit, his life on our lives!
not that we are sufficient in ourselves to take credit for anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from us, but · our adequacy comes from · God,
By ourselves we are not qualified in any way to claim that we can do anything. Rather, God makes us qualified.
Not that of ourselves we are qualified to take credit for anything as coming from us; rather, our qualification comes from God,
Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
Obviously, we are not competent of ourselves to take credit for anything as coming from us. Our competence comes from God
We are not saying that we can do this work ourselves. It is God who makes us able to do all that we do.
Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
In ourselves we are not able to claim anything for ourselves. The power to do what we do comes from God.
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
We know we are not able in ourselves to do any of this work. God makes us able to do these things.
It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.
It is not that we are competent in and of ourselves, so as to think a good thought, as it were, by ourselves. But our ability comes from God,
Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,
Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,
Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,
Not that we are qualified of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our qualification is from God,
It isn’t as though we are qualified in ourselves to reckon that we have anything to offer on our own account. Our qualification comes from God:
Not that we are competent from ourselves to claim anything as of ourselves, but our competence is from Hashem, [2C 2:16]
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to think anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our sufficiency is from God,
not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.
Don’t be mistaken; in and of ourselves we know we have little to offer, but any competence or value we have comes from God.
not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,
We are not good enough to think we can do anything ourselves. But God makes us able to do it.
not that we be sufficient to think any thing of us[selves], as of us, but our sufficience is of God.
not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything, as of ourselves, but our sufficiency [is] of God,
