2 Corinthians 6:3
Print
Give no offense in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;
giving no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our ministration be not blamed;
we put no obstruction in anyone’s path, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
We put no obstruction in anybody’s way [we give no offense in anything], so that no fault may be found and [our] ministry blamed and discredited.
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
We are not giving anyone an occasion for offense, so that the ministry will not be blamed.
We don’t give anyone any reason to be offended about anything so that our ministry won’t be criticized.
We try not to put obstacles in anyone’s path, so that no one can find fault with the work we do.
We don't want anyone to find fault with our work, and so we try hard not to cause problems.
giving no manner of offence in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;
... in nothing giving any opportunity-for-stumbling, in order that the ministry may not be faulted,
Giving no offence to any man, that our ministry be not blamed:
We don’t want people to find anything wrong with our work. So we do nothing that will be a problem to others.
We do not want anyone to think bad things about our work. So we do nothing that might cause trouble for anyone.
We are giving no one a reason to stumble in any way, so that our ministry will not be blamed.
We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We try not to ·be a problem [cause offense; place an obstacle/stumbling block] for anyone in any way, so that no one will find fault with our ·work [ministry].
We give no occasion of offence in anything, that our ministry should not be reprehended.
We don’t give people any opportunity to find fault with how we serve.
We do not want anyone to find fault with our work, so we try not to put obstacles in anyone's way.
We give no opportunity for stumbling to anyone, so that the ministry will not be blamed.
We do not want anyone to find anything wrong with our work. So we do nothing that will be a problem for anyone.
We do not put an obstacle in anyone’s way. Otherwise, fault may be found with our ministry.
As far as we are concerned we do not wish to stand in anyone’s way, nor do we wish to bring discredit on the ministry God has given us. Indeed we want to prove ourselves genuine ministers of God whatever we have to go through—patient endurance of troubles or even disasters, being flogged or imprisoned; being mobbed, having to work like slaves, having to go without food or sleep. All this we want to meet with sincerity, with insight and patience; by sheer kindness and the Holy Spirit; with genuine love, speaking the plain truth, and living by the power of God. Our sole defence, our only weapon, is a life of integrity, whether we meet honour or dishonour, praise or blame. Called “impostors” we must be true, called “nobodies” we must be in the public eye. Never far from death, yet here we are alive, always “going through it” yet never “going under”. We know sorrow, yet our joy is inextinguishable. We have “nothing to bless ourselves with” yet we bless many others with true riches. We are penniless, and yet in reality we have everything worth having.
Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry not be blamed,
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
We are giving no one an occasion for taking offense in anything, in order that our ministry will not have fault found with it,
We try to live in such a way that no one will ever be offended or kept back from finding the Lord by the way we act, so that no one can find fault with us and blame it on the Lord.
Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; The day you needed me, I was there to help. Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. Our work as God’s servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right; when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.
We give no offense in anything, that our service may not be blamed.
We do not put a stumbling block in anyone’s way, so that our ministry may not be faulted.
We don’t give people any opportunity to find fault with how we serve.
We cause no one to stumble in anything, in order that no fault may be found with our ministry;
giving no reason for taking offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
We avoid placing obstacles in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry.
We do not want anyone to find fault with our work, so nothing we do will be a problem for anyone.
We do not give anyone an occasion for taking an offense in anything, so that no fault may be found with our ministry.
We don’t put anything in anyone’s way. So no one can find fault with our work for God.
We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.
We put no stumbling-block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.
We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.
We do not want to put anything in the way that would keep people from God. We do not want to be blamed.
We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry.
Let us give no one occasion for evil, so that in our service no fault may be found,
We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We put no obstacles in anybody’s way, so that nobody will say abusive things about our ministry.
Not giving in anything a cause for michshol, lest the Messianic Avodas Kodesh (holy worship, service) be blamed;
We cause no one to stumble in anything, that the ministry should not be blamed.
We put no obstacle in any one’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We put no obstacle in any one’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,
We give no cause for offense in anything, so that our ministry may not be blamed.
We are careful in what we teach so that our words won’t be a stumbling block and so that no one will discredit our ministry.
We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
We put nothing in anyone's way. So no one can say our work is bad.
Give we to no man any offence, that our service be not reproved; [To no man giving any offence, or hurting, that our ministry, or service, be not reproved;]
in nothing giving any cause of offence, that the ministration may be not blamed,
