And his inward affection is more abundant toward you whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
His affection is greater than ever as he remembers the obedience [to his guidance] that all of you exhibited, and how you received him with the greatest respect.
And his heart goes out to you more abundantly than ever as he recalls the submission [to his guidance] that all of you had, and the reverence and anxiety [to meet all requirements] with which you accepted and welcomed him.
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his affection toward you is even greater as he remembers the obedience of all of you, and how you received him with fear and trembling.
His devotion to you is growing even more as he remembers how all of you were obedient when you welcomed him with fear and trembling.
And his affection for you is all the greater as he remembers how ready you were to obey and how you received him with reverence and respect.
Titus loves all of you very much, especially when he remembers how you obeyed him and how you trembled with fear when you welcomed him.
and his affections are more abundantly towards you, calling to mind the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his deep-feelings are especially for you, while remembering the obedience of you all— how you received him with fear and trembling.
And his bowels are more abundantly towards you; remembering the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you have received him.
And his love for you is stronger when he remembers that you were all ready to obey. You welcomed him with respect and fear.
Now, when Titus thinks about you, he loves you even more. He remembers that you were ready to obey him. You respected his authority and you received him into your homes.
And his heart goes out to you even more, as he remembers the obedience of all of you (how you received him with fear and trembling).
And his affection for you is even greater, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.
And his affection for you is even greater, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.
And his ·love [affection; feeling] for you is ·stronger [greater still] when he remembers that you were all ready to obey. You ·welcomed [received] him with ·respect and fear [L fear and trembling].
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, when he remembereth the obedience of you all, and how with fear and trembling ye received him.
His deepest feelings go out to you even more as he remembers how obedient all of you were, and how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.
And so his love for you grows stronger, as he remembers how all of you were ready to obey his instructions, how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.
And his affection toward you is even greater as he remembers the obedience of all of you, and how you received him with fear and trembling.
And his love for you is stronger when he remembers that you were all ready to obey. You welcomed him with respect and fear.
His affection for you is even greater as he remembers how obedient all of you were and how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.
Now I did not write that letter really for the sake of the man who sinned, or even for the sake of the one who was sinned against, but to let you see for yourselves, in the sight of God, how deeply you really do care for us. That is why we now feel so deeply comforted, and our sense of joy was greatly enhanced by the satisfaction that your attitude had obviously given Titus. You see, I had told him of my pride in you, and you have not let me down. I have always spoken the truth to you, and this proves that my proud words about you were true as well. Titus himself has a much greater love for you, now that he has seen for himself the obedience you gave him, and the respect and reverence with which you treated him. I am profoundly glad to have my confidence in you so fully proved.
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you while he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
And his affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.
And his affection for you is all the more when he remembers the obedience of all of you as you welcomed him with fear and trembling.
He loves you more than ever when he remembers the way you listened to him so willingly and received him so anxiously and with such deep concern.
And now, isn’t it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God? You’re more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate, more responsible. Looked at from any angle, you’ve come out of this with purity of heart. And that is what I was hoping for in the first place when I wrote the letter. My primary concern was not for the one who did the wrong or even the one wronged, but for you—that you would realize and act upon the deep, deep ties between us before God. That’s what happened—and we felt just great. And then, when we saw how Titus felt—his exuberance over your response—our joy doubled. It was wonderful to see how revived and refreshed he was by everything you did. If I went out on a limb in telling Titus how great I thought you were, you didn’t cut off that limb. As it turned out, I hadn’t exaggerated one bit. Titus saw for himself that everything I had said about you was true. He can’t quit talking about it, going over again and again the story of your prompt obedience, and the dignity and sensitivity of your hospitality. He was quite overwhelmed by it all! And I couldn’t be more pleased—I’m so confident and proud of you.
Now his affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
And · his affection for you is even greater when he recalls the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you welcomed him.
His deepest feelings go out to you even more as he remembers how obedient all of you were, and how you welcomed him with fear and trembling.

And his heart goes out all the more to you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, and the fear and trembling with which you received him.
His feelings toward you overflow when he remembers everyone’s obedience—how you received him with fear and trembling.
His love for you overflows even more as he recalls your obedience and how you respectfully and somewhat nervously, with fear and trembling, took him in.
His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
I am glad that I can always trust you.
And the inwardness of him be more plenteously in you [And the entrails of him be more plenteous in you], which hath in mind the obedience of you all, how with dread and trembling ye received him.
and his tender affection is more abundantly toward you, remembering the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye did receive him;
