Then Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath, and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

About this same time, Aram’s King Hazael came up, attacked Gath, and captured it. Next Hazael decided to march against Jerusalem.
Money from guilt offerings and sin offerings, however, was not brought into the house of Adonai; it went to the cohanim.
About the same time, King Hazael of Syria attacked the town of Gath and captured it. Next, he decided to attack Jerusalem.
Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it. And Hazael set his face to go up against Jerusalem.

Hazael was the king of Aram. He went to fight against the city of Gath and defeated it. Then he made plans to go fight against Jerusalem.
At that time, Hazael, the king of Syria, attacked Gath. His army took the city for him. Then King Hazael decided to attack Jerusalem.

At this time King Hazael of Aram fought against Gath and conquered it. He was also determined to attack Jerusalem.
At that time King Hazael of Syria attacked the city of Gath and conquered it; then he decided to attack Jerusalem.

¶ Then Hazael, king of Syria, went up, and fought against Gath and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up against Jerusalem.

About this time, King Hazael of Syria went to war against Gath and captured it; then he moved on toward Jerusalem to attack it.
Around this time Hazael king of Aram ventured out and attacked Gath, and he captured it. Then he decided to try for Jerusalem. Joash king of Judah countered by gathering up all the sacred memorials—gifts dedicated for holy use by his ancestors, the kings of Judah, Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, along with the holy memorials he himself had received, plus all the gold that he could find in the temple and palace storerooms—and sent it to Hazael king of Aram. Appeased, Hazael went on his way and didn’t bother Jerusalem.
Then Hazael king of Aram went up, fought against Gath, and seized it. Then Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
At this time King Hazael of Aram fought against Gath and conquered it. He was also determined to attack Jerusalem.
The funds from reparation offerings and from purification offerings, however, were not brought to the house of the Lord; they belonged to the priests.
Then Hazael the king of Aram went up and fought against Gath and captured it, and Hazael was intent on going up against Jerusalem.

Meanwhile Hazael (Aram’s king) was fighting Gath in Philistia, and he took the entire city captive. Then he put his sights on Jerusalem.
Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
Then Hazael, king of Syria, went up, and fought against Gath; and he took it, and (ad)dressed his face (and directed his face), (so) that he should ascend into Jerusalem.
Then go up doth Hazael king of Aram, and fighteth against Gath, and captureth it, and Hazael setteth his face to go up against Jerusalem;
