When this order reached Nicanor, he was upset and found it difficult to revoke the agreements, seeing how the man had done no wrong.
When this was known, Nicanor was in a consternation, and took it grievously that he should make void the articles that were agreed upon, having received no injury from the man.
When this message reached Nicanor, he was hurt and didn't know what to do, because he did not like having to break an agreement with a man who had kept his part of the bargain.
When this message reached Nicanor he was dismayed and troubled at the thought of annulling his agreement with a man who had done no wrong.
When this message reached Nicanor, he was greatly upset, for he did not wish to break his agreement with a man who had done nothing wrong.
When this message came to Nicanor, he was troubled and grieved that he had to annul their agreement when the man had done no wrong.
When this message came to Nicanor, he was troubled and grieved that he had to annul their agreement when the man had done no wrong.
