2 Maccabees 14:7

Deprived of my ancestral glory—I speak of course of the high priesthood—I have now come here,
For I also being deprived of my ancestors' glory (I mean of the high priesthood) am now come hither:
It is their fault that I no longer hold the glorious position of High Priest, to which I am entitled by birth. And so I have come here,
For this reason, now that I am deprived of my ancestral dignity, that is to say, the high priesthood, I have come here,
That is why, although I have been deprived of my ancestral dignity—I am referring to the high priesthood—I have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high-priesthood—and have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high-priesthood—and have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high priesthood—and have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high priesthood—and have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high priesthood—and have now come here,
Therefore I have laid aside my ancestral glory—I mean the high priesthood—and have now come here,
For why and I am defrauded of (the) glory of (my) father and mother, soothly I say, of (the) highest priesthood, and I came hither,
