2 Maccabees 6:29

Those who had shown goodwill toward him earlier now felt hostility toward him, because the words he had spoken seemed insane to them.
And they that led him, and had been a little before more mild, were changed to wrath for the words he had spoken, which they thought were uttered out of arrogancy.
and the very people who had treated him kindly a few minutes before, now turned against him, because they thought he had spoken like a madman.
Those who shortly before had been kindly disposed, now became hostile toward him because what he had said seemed to them utter madness.
Those who a short time before had been so kindly disposed toward him now became hostile after this statement that they regarded as sheer madness.
Those who a little before had acted towards him with goodwill now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
Those who a little before had acted towards him with goodwill now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
Those who a little before had acted toward him with goodwill now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
Those who a little before had acted toward him with goodwill now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
And those who a little before had acted toward him with good will now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
And those who a little before had acted toward him with good will now changed to ill will, because the words he had uttered were in their opinion sheer madness.
Forsooth these that led him, and (that) a little before were milder, were turned into wrath, for the words said of (or by) him, which they deemed brought forth by pride of heart.
