Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead.”
Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead.
So now, do not let my lord the king take the report to heart that all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon alone is dead.”
So let not my lord the king take the thing to heart and think all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead.
Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
So now, my lord the king, don’t take seriously the report that says all the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
So don’t let this bother you, my master; don’t think that all the princes are dead, because only Amnon is dead,
So my lord the king shouldn’t take it as seriously as if all the king’s sons are dead; only Amnon is dead.”
Don't worry about the report that all your sons were killed. Only Amnon is dead,
And now let not my lord the king take the thing to heart, to say, All the king's sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead.
Now therefore let not my lord the king take this thing into his heart, saying: All the king's sons are slain: for Amnon only is dead.
My lord and king, don’t think that all of your sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
My lord the king, you should not believe the report that all your sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.’
Now my lord the king should pay no attention to the report that says, ‘All the king’s sons are dead,’ because only Amnon is dead.”
Now therefore let not my lord the king so take it to heart as to suppose that all the king's sons are dead, for Amnon alone is dead.”
Now therefore let not my lord the king so take it to heart as to suppose that all the king's sons are dead, for Amnon alone is dead.”
My ·master and [lord the] king, don’t ·think [imagine; L take to heart] that all of the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead!”
Now therefore let not my lord the King take the thing so grievously; to think that all the King’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
You shouldn’t burden your heart with the idea that all the king’s sons are dead, Your Majesty. Only Amnon is dead.
So don't believe the news that all your sons are dead; only Amnon was killed.”
So now, my lord the king, don’t take seriously the report that says all the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
My master and king, don’t think that all of the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead!”
Now your majesty, don’t be concerned about this rumor that all the king’s sons have died, because only Amnon is dead.”
Now, therefore, do not let my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead, for only Amnon is dead.
Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
So now, do not let my lord the king take the report to heart, saying, ‘all the king’s sons have died,’ for only Amnon has died.”
So then, let not my lord the king set his heart on this matter, thinking, ‘All the sons of the king are dead,’ for only Amnon alone is dead.”
But just then Jonadab (the son of David’s brother Shimeah) arrived and said, “No, not all have been killed! It was only Amnon! Absalom has been plotting this ever since Amnon raped Tamar. No, no! Your sons aren’t all dead! It was only Amnon.”
Just then, Jonadab, his brother Shimeah’s son, stepped up. “My master must not think that all the young men, the king’s sons, are dead. Only Amnon is dead. This happened because of Absalom’s outrage since the day that Amnon violated his sister Tamar. So my master, the king, mustn’t make things worse than they are, thinking that all your sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
Now, my lord the king should not take this matter to heart, thinking that all of the king’s sons are dead. Instead Amnon alone is dead.”
You shouldn’t burden your heart with the idea that all the king’s sons are dead, Your Majesty. Only Amnon is dead.
Now let my lord the king not take so to heart that report, ‘All the king’s sons are dead.’ Amnon alone is dead.”
So now, may my lord the king not take the report to heart, claiming, ‘all the king’s sons are dead’; but only Amnon is dead.”
Now therefore, do not let my lord the king take the report to heart, namely, ‘all the king’s sons are dead,’ for only Amnon is dead.”
Therefore, my lord the king should not believe the report that all of the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
My master and king, don’t think that all of the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead!”
Now don’t let my lord the king be concerned about the report that has come saying, ‘All the king’s sons are dead.’ It is only Amnon who is dead.”
You are my king and master. You shouldn’t be concerned about this report. It’s not true that all your sons are dead. The only one who is dead is Amnon.”
My lord the king should not be concerned about the report that all the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.”
My lord the king should not be concerned about the report that all the king’s sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead.’
Now therefore, let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead. For only Amnon is dead.”
So do not let my lord the king take this to heart and think that all the king’s sons are dead, for only Amnon is dead.”
No, my lord the king, your sons aren’t all dead! It was only Amnon.”
Now therefore, do not let my lord the king take it to heart, as if all the king’s sons were dead; for Amnon alone is dead.’
Now therefore, do not let my lord the king take it to heart, as if all the king’s sons were dead; for Amnon alone is dead.’
Now therefore, do not let my lord the king take it to heart, as if all the king’s sons were dead; for Amnon alone is dead.”
Now, therefore, do not let my lord the king take it to heart, as if all the king’s sons were dead, for Amnon alone is dead.”
Now therefore let not adoni HaMelech take the thing to his lev, to think that all the Bnei HaMelech are dead; for Amnon only is dead.
Now therefore let not my lord the king so take it to heart as to suppose that all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon alone is dead.”
Now therefore let not my lord the king so take it to heart as to suppose that all the king’s sons are dead; for Amnon alone is dead.”
Now therefore, my lord the king must not take the report to his heart thinking that all the king’s sons are dead—for only Amnon is dead.”
So, my lord, don’t grieve as though your line was extinguished, for only your son Amnon is dead.
Now therefore don’t let my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead; for only Amnon is dead.”
Now therefore, my lord the king, set not this word on his heart, and say, All the sons of the king be slain; for Amnon alone is dead. (And so now, my lord the king, put not this thing upon thy heart, and say, All the king’s sons be killed; for only Amnon is dead.)
and now, let not my lord the king lay unto his heart the word, saying, All the sons of the king have died, for Amnon alone [is] dead.'
