Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had stayed two days in Ziklag—

Sha’ul had died, and David had been two days in Ziklag after returning from the slaughter of the ‘Amaleki.
Saul was dead. Meanwhile, David had defeated the Amalekites and returned to Ziklag.
And it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, that David abode two days in Ziklag.
Now it came to pass, after Saul was dead, that David returned from the slaughter of the Amalecites, and abode two days in Siceleg.
After David defeated the Amalekites, he went back to Ziklag. This was just after Saul had been killed. David had been there two days.
After David had won the fight against the Amalekites, he returned to Ziklag. He stayed in Ziklag for two days. Saul had already died.
After the death of Saul, when David had returned from defeating the Amalekites, he stayed at Ziklag for two days.

Saul was dead and David had returned to Ziklag after slaughtering the Amalekites. Three days later a man arrived from the Israeli army with his clothes torn and with dirt on his head as a sign of mourning. He fell to the ground before David in deep respect.
Shortly after Saul died, David returned to Ziklag from his rout of the Amalekites. Three days later a man showed up unannounced from Saul’s army camp. Disheveled and obviously in mourning, he fell to his knees in respect before David. David asked, “What brings you here?” He answered, “I’ve just escaped from the camp of Israel.”

After Saul and Jonathan were killed in battle with the Philistines, David returned from defeating the Amalekites, and for two days he rested in Ziklag.
