God made darkness his covering; water gathered in dense clouds!
He made darkness his canopy around him, thick clouds in the skies dense with water.
Darkness was your tent! Thunderclouds filled the sky, hiding you from sight.
And he made darkness round about him a tent, Gatherings of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
He made darkness a covering round about him: dropping waters out of the clouds of the heavens.
He wrapped himself in darkness that covered him like a tent. He was hidden by dark clouds filled with water.
God put darkness all round him. He hid himself under dark clouds that held rain.
He made the darkness around him his shelter, the dark rain clouds of the sky.
He made darkness around him his canopy, thick clouds, a gathering of water.
He made darkness around him his canopy, thick clouds, a gathering of water.
He made darkness his ·shelter [canopy, shroud] surrounded by ·fog and [thick rain] clouds.
And he made darkness a Tabernacle round about him, even the gatherings of waters, and the clouds of the air.
He surrounded himself with darkness. He made the dark rain clouds his covering.
He covered himself with darkness; thick clouds, full of water, surrounded him;
He made darkness a canopy around Him, a gathering of water and thick clouds.
He made darkness his shelter around him, surrounded by fog and clouds.
The darkness around him was his canopies— amassed water was his overhanging clouds!
He placed darkness like tabernacles round about him, dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
And He made darkness canopies around Him, A mass of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
He put darkness as a canopy all around him, a collection of thick rain clouds.
Darkness surrounded him, And clouds were thick around him;
Earth wobbled and lurched; the very heavens shook like leaves, Quaked like aspen leaves because of his rage. His nostrils flared, billowing smoke; his mouth spit fire. Tongues of fire darted in and out; he lowered the sky. He stepped down; under his feet an abyss opened up. He rode a winged creature, swift on wind-wings. He wrapped himself in a trenchcoat of black rain-cloud darkness. But his cloud-brightness burst through, a grand comet of fireworks. Then God thundered out of heaven; the High God gave a great shout. God shot his arrows—pandemonium! He hurled his lightnings—a rout! The secret sources of ocean were exposed, the hidden depths of earth lay uncovered The moment God roared in protest, let loose his hurricane anger.
He made darkness canopies around Him, dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
He surrounded himself with darkness. He made the dark rain clouds his covering.
He made darkness the cover about him, a mass of water, heavy thunderheads.

“He used the darkness as his covering; dense thunderclouds were his canopy.
He made darkness his shelter, surrounded by fog and clouds.
He shrouded himself in darkness, in thick rain clouds.
He covered himself with darkness. The dark rain clouds of the sky were like a tent around him.
He made darkness his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky.
He made darkness his canopy around him – the dark rain clouds of the sky.

He shrouded himself in darkness, veiling his approach with dense rain clouds.

He put darkness (a) hiding place in his compass, and riddled, or winnowed, waters from the clouds of heavens; (He hid himself in darkness, and the clouds of the heavens, which were filled with water, encompassed, or surrounded, him;)
And He setteth darkness Round about Him -- tabernacles, Darkness of waters -- thick clouds of the skies.
