And Joab said, “As God liveth, unless thou had spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone up every one from following his brother.”
And Joab said, As God liveth, if thou hadst not spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone away, nor followed every one his brother.
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, then the people certainly would have stopped pursuing their brothers in the morning.”
Joab said, As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would have stopped pursuing their brethren in the morning.
And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
“As God lives,” Joab replied, “if you had not spoken up, the troops wouldn’t have stopped pursuing their brothers until morning.”
“As surely as God lives,” Joab replied, “if you hadn’t just said that, the soldiers would have continued after their brothers until morning.”
Yo’av said, “As God lives, if you hadn’t said something, there is no doubt that the people would have kept following their brothers all night long.”
Joab shouted back, “I swear by the living God, if you hadn't spoken, my men would have chased their relatives all night!”
And Joab said, [As] God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
And Joab said: As the Lord liveth, if thou hadst spoke sooner, even in the morning the people should have retired from pursuing after their brethren.
Then Joab said, “As surely as God is alive, if you had not said something, people would still be chasing their brothers in the morning.”
Joab replied, ‘As surely as God lives, I agree! If you had not spoken, our men would have chased you all through the night. They would not have stopped until the morning.’
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely it would have been morning before the people would have given up pursuing their brothers.”
And Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would not have given up the pursuit of their brothers until the morning.”
And Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would not have given up the pursuit of their brothers until the morning.”
Then Joab said, “As surely as God lives, if you had not said anything, the people would have chased their brothers until morning.”
And Joab said, As God liveth, if thou hadst not spoken, surely even in the morning the people had departed every one back from his brother.
Joab answered, “I solemnly swear, as God lives, if you had not spoken, the men would not have stopped chasing their relatives until morning.”
“I swear by the living God,” Joab answered, “that if you had not spoken, my men would have kept on chasing you until tomorrow morning.”
“As God lives,” Joab replied, “if you had not spoken up, the troops wouldn’t have stopped pursuing their brothers until morning.”
Then Joab said, “If you had not said anything, the people would have chased their brothers until morning. This is as sure as God is alive.”
Joab answered, “As God lives, if you hadn’t spoken up, by morning my army would have broken off their pursuit of their own relatives.”
And Joab replied, As God lives, if thou had not spoken, surely from this morning the people would have left off from following their brothers.
And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
And Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then the people would have only gone away in the morning, each from following his brother.”
Joab said, “As God lives, for if you had not spoken, the people would surely have gone up in the morning, each one of them from following after his brother.”
Joab shouted back, “I swear by God that even if you hadn’t spoken, we would all have gone home tomorrow morning.”
“As God lives,” said Joab, “if you hadn’t spoken up, we’d have kept up the chase until morning!” Then he blew the ram’s horn trumpet and the whole army of Judah stopped in its tracks. They quit chasing Israel and called off the fighting.
Joab responded, “As God lives, I assure you that if you had not said this, the people would have each pursued his brother throughout the night.”
Joab answered, “I solemnly swear, as Elohim lives, if you had not spoken, the men would not have stopped chasing their relatives until morning.”
Joab replied, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, it would be morning before the people would be stopped from pursuing their brothers.”
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, then the people of Judah certainly would have withdrawn in the morning, each from pursuing his brother.”
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then the people would have gone away in the morning, each from following his brother.”
Joab replied: “As God lives, if you had not spoken, the soldiers would not have relented in their pursuit of their brothers until morning.”
Then Joab said, “As surely as God lives, if you had not said anything, the people would have chased their brothers until morning.”
Joab replied, “As surely as God lives, if you had not said this, it would have been morning before the people would have abandoned pursuit of their brothers.”
Joab answered, “It’s a good thing you spoke up. If you hadn’t, the men would have kept on chasing them until morning. And that’s just as sure as God is alive.”
Joab answered, “As surely as God lives, if you had not spoken, the men would have continued pursuing them until morning.”
Joab answered, ‘As surely as God lives, if you had not spoken, the men would have continued pursuing them until morning.’
And Joab said, “As God lives, unless you had spoken, surely then by morning all the people would have given up pursuing their brethren.”
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, for sure the people would have stopped going after their brothers in the morning.”
Then Joab said, “God only knows what would have happened if you hadn’t spoken, for we would have chased you all night if necessary.”
Joab said, ‘As God lives, if you had not spoken, the people would have continued to pursue their kinsmen, not stopping until morning.’
Joab said, ‘As God lives, if you had not spoken, the people would have continued to pursue their kinsmen, not stopping until morning.’
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, the people would have continued to pursue their kinsmen, not stopping until morning.”
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, the people would have continued to pursue their kinsmen, not stopping until morning.”
And Yoav said, As HaElohim liveth, if thou hadst not spoken, HaAm would have continued every one following his brother, not stopping until haboker.
And Jo′ab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would have given up the pursuit of their brethren in the morning.”
And Jo′ab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely the men would have given up the pursuit of their brethren in the morning.”
“As God lives,” Joab replied, “if you had not spoken, then surely the people would have gone up until the morning, everyone after his kinsman.”
Joab: I swear before the living God that if you had not said this, my forces would have pursued their Israelite brothers until morning.
Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”
And Joab said, The Lord liveth, for if thou haddest spoken thus early, the people pursuing his brother had gone away. (And Joab said, As the Lord liveth, if thou haddest not spoken, the people would have continued pursuing their kinsmen until morning.)
And Joab saith, `God liveth! for unless thou hadst spoken, surely then from the morning had the people gone up each from after his brother.'
