And it was so that, when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand and took him and kissed him.

And whenever a man approached to bow down before him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him, and kiss him.
And whenever a man came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him, and kiss him.

When a person approached to pay homage to him, Absalom reached out his hand, took hold of him, and kissed him.
Whenever anyone came near to Absalom, bowing low out of respect, he would reach his hand out, grab them, and kiss them.
Moreover, whenever any man came close to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him.
Whenever anyone came to Absalom and started bowing down, he would reach out and hug and kiss them.
And it was so, that when any man came near to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
Moreover when any man came to him to salute him, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
And if anyone came to Absalom and started to bow down to him, Absalom would treat him like a close friend—he would reach out and touch him and kiss him.
When anyone bent his body down low to give honour to Absalom, Absalom would reach out and pull the man towards him. He would kiss the man.
Whenever someone approached to bow down to him, he would reach out, take hold of him, and kiss him.
And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
People would come near Absalom to ·bow to [prostrate themselves before] him. When they did, Absalom would reach out his hand and take hold of them and kiss them [C to show he treated them as his equals].
And when any man came near to him, and did him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
When anyone approached him and bowed down, Absalom would reach out, take hold of him, and kiss him.
When the man would approach Absalom to bow down before him, Absalom would reach out, take hold of him, and kiss him.
When a person approached to bow down to him, Absalom reached out his hand, took hold of him, and kissed him.
People would come near Absalom to bow to him. When they did, Absalom would reach out his hand and take hold of them. Then he would kiss them.
Furthermore, if a man approached him to bow down in front of him, he would put out his hand, grab him, and embrace him.
And it was so, that when anyone came near unto him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand and took him and kissed him.
And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
And when a man came near to prostrate himself before him, he would send forth his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
It happened whenever anyone drew near to do obeisance to him, that he would stretch his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
And when anyone came to bow to him, Absalom wouldn’t let him, but shook his hand instead!
Then Absalom would say, “Look, you’ve got a strong case; but the king isn’t going to listen to you.” Then he’d say, “Why doesn’t someone make me a judge for this country? Anybody with a case could bring it to me and I’d settle things fair and square.” Whenever someone would treat him with special honor, he’d shrug it off and treat him like an equal, making him feel important. Absalom did this to everyone who came to do business with the king and stole the hearts of everyone in Israel.
When a man would approach to bow before him, he would reach out, embrace him, and kiss him.
When anyone approached him and bowed down, Absalom would reach out, take hold of him, and kiss him.
Whenever a man approached him to show homage, he would extend his hand, hold him, and kiss him.
And whenever a man approached to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
And when a man came near to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
Moreover, whenever a man came before him and prostrated himself, Absalom would stretch out his hand, embrace him, and kiss him.
People would come near Absalom to bow to him. When they did, Absalom would reach out his hand and take hold of them and kiss them.
When someone approached to bow before him, Absalom would extend his hand and embrace him and kiss him.
Sometimes people would approach Absalom and bow down to him. Then he would reach out his hand. He would take hold of them and kiss them.
Also, whenever anyone approached him to bow down before him, Absalom would reach out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him.

And so it was, whenever anyone came near to bow down to him, that he would put out his hand and take him and kiss him.
When a man came near to put his face to the ground in front of him, Absalom would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.
When people tried to bow before him, Absalom wouldn’t let them. Instead, he took them by the hand and kissed them.
Whenever people came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of them, and kiss them.
Whenever people came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of them, and kiss them.

And it was so, that when any ish came near to him to prostrate himself before him, he put forth his yad, and took him, and kissed him.
And whenever a man came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand, and take hold of him, and kiss him.
And whenever a man came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand, and take hold of him, and kiss him.
Also, whenever anyone approached to bow to him, he would stretch his hand, take hold of him, and kiss him.
When people came to Absalom to show their respects, he would embrace them and kiss them.
It was so, that when any man came near to bow down to him, he stretched out his hand, and took hold of him, and kissed him.
But when a man came to Absalom to greet him, he held forth his hand, and took, and kissed that man; (And whenever a man came to Absalom to greet him, he would stretch out his hand, and take hold of him, and kiss him;)
And it hath come to pass, in the drawing nearing of any one to bow himself to him, that he hath put forth his hand, and laid hold on him, and given a kiss to him;
