And when they had set them in their midst, they asked, “By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?”

When they had put the men in front of them, they repeatedly asked, “By what sort of power, or in what name [that is, by what kind of authority], did you do this [healing]?”
And they set the men in their midst and repeatedly demanded, By what sort of power or by what kind of authority did [such people as] you do this [healing]?
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
After they had Peter and John stand before them, they began to question them: “By what power or in what name have you done this?”
They had Peter and John brought before them and asked, “By what power or in what name did you do this?”
They had the emissaries stand before them and asked, “By what power or in what name did you do this?”
They brought in Peter and John and made them stand in the middle while they questioned them. They asked, “By what power and in whose name have you done this?”
and having placed them in the midst they inquired, In what power or in what name have *ye* done this?
And having stood them in the middle, they were inquiring, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
And setting them in the midst, they asked: By what power, or by what name, have you done this?
They made Peter and John stand before all the people. They asked them over and over, “How did you make this crippled man well? What power did you use? By whose authority did you do this?”
The Jewish leaders made Peter and John stand in front of them. They began to ask them questions. They said, ‘How did you cause that man's legs to become strong? Who gave you the power and the authority to do it?’
After they made Peter and John stand in front of them, they began to question them: “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
And when they had set them in the midst, they inquired, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
And when they had set them in the midst, they enquired, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”

Next day the leading members of the council, the elders and scribes, met in Jerusalem with Annas the High Priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander and the whole of the High Priest’s family. They had the apostles brought in to stand before them and they asked them formally, “By what power and in whose name have you done this thing?”
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power or by what name have ye done this?

So the two disciples were brought in before them. “By what power, or by whose authority have you done this?” the Council demanded.
The next day a meeting was called in Jerusalem. The rulers, religious leaders, religion scholars, Annas the Chief Priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander—everybody who was anybody was there. They stood Peter and John in the middle of the room and grilled them: “Who put you in charge here? What business do you have doing this?”
When they had stood them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”
And having set them in the midst, they began to inquire, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
They made Peter and John stand in front of them and then asked, “By what power or in whose name did you do this?”
They brought them into their presence and questioned them, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”
When they had placed them in the center, they began to inquire, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”

They made their prisoners stand in the middle of the assembly and questioned them. Jewish Leaders: Who gave you the authority to create that spectacle in the temple yesterday?
When they had stood Peter and John in the middle of them, they inquired, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”
Peter and John were brought before them. They asked the apostles, `By what power or in what name have you done this?'
And they set them in the middle, and asked, In what virtue, either in what name [or in what name], have ye done this thing?
and having set them in the midst, they were inquiring, `In what power, or in what name did ye do this?'
