And he pulled Daniel out, and threw into the den the men who had attempted his destruction, and they were devoured immediately before his eyes.
and the king drew him out of the pit. Certainly he sent into the pit them, that were (the) cause of his perdition, and they were devoured in a moment before him. [and drew out him of the lake. Forsooth he sent into the lake them, that were cause of his perdition, and they be devoured in a moment before him.]
