Daniel 11:5

“And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion.
And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the South (Egypt) will be strong, along with one of his princes who will be stronger than he and have dominance over him; his domain will be a great dominion.
Then the king of the South (Egypt) shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he is and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
¶ And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“The king of the South will grow powerful, but one of his commanders will grow more powerful and will rule a kingdom greater than his.
“Then the southern king will gain power, but one of his princes will overpower him, ruling in his place. His empire will be vast.
“The king in the south will be strong, and one of his princes will gain power over him and have dominion; his domain will be a great dominion.
The king of the south will grow powerful. Then one of his generals will rebel and will rule an even larger kingdom.
And the king of the south, who is one of his princes, shall be strong; but [another] shall be stronger than he, and have dominion: his dominion shall be a great dominion.
And the king of the south shall be strengthened, and one of his princes shall prevail over him, and he shall rule with great power: for his dominion shall be great.
“The southern king will become strong, but then one of his commanders will defeat him. The commander will begin to rule, and he will be very powerful.
Then the king who rules in the south will become strong. But one of his own army officers will become even stronger. That officer will rule a greater kingdom than the king of the south.
The King of the South will become strong, but one of his commanders will become stronger than he and rule a dominion greater than his.
“Then the king of the south shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he and shall rule, and his authority shall be a great authority.
“Then the king of the south shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he and shall rule, and his authority shall be a great authority.
“The king of the South [C Ptolemy I; the South is the Ptolemaic kingdom with its chief city in Alexandria, Egypt] will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger [C Seleucus, the founding king of the Seleucid kingdom with its chief city in Antioch, Syria]. He will begin to rule his own kingdom with great power.
And the King of the South shall be mighty, and one of his princes, and shall prevail against him, and bear rule: his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“The southern king will be strong, but one of his officers will become stronger than he is and rule a vast empire.
“The king of Egypt will be strong. One of his generals, however, will be even stronger and rule a greater kingdom.
“The king of the South will grow powerful, but one of his commanders will grow more powerful and will rule a kingdom greater than his.
“The king of the South will become strong. But one of his commanders will become even stronger. He will begin to rule his own kingdom with great power.
“‘The southern king will become strong, along with one of his officials, who will become stronger than he and rule over his own realm with great power.
¶ And the king of the south, {this Hebrew word is identified with the people of God} and of his principalities, shall make himself strong; and he shall exceed him and make himself powerful; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the South will grow strong, along with one of his princes who will grow strong over him and obtain dominion; indeed, his domain will be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the south will grow strong and also one of his officials, and he will grow stronger than him and he will rule a dominion greater than his dominion.
One of them, the king of Egypt, will increase in power, but this king’s own officials will rebel against him and take away his kingdom and make it still more powerful.
“‘Next the king of the south will grow strong, but one of his princes will grow stronger than he and rule an even larger territory. After a few years, the two of them will make a pact, and the daughter of the king of the south will marry the king of the north to cement the peace agreement. But her influence will weaken and her child will not survive. She and her servants, her child, and her husband will be betrayed. “‘Sometime later a member of the royal family will show up and take over. He will take command of his army and invade the defenses of the king of the north and win a resounding victory. He will load up their tin gods and all the gold and silver trinkets that go with them and cart them off to Egypt. Eventually, the king of the north will recover and invade the country of the king of the south, but unsuccessfully. He will have to retreat.
“The king of the South shall be strong, as well as one of his officials who shall be strong above him and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion.
“The southern king will be strong, but one of his officers will become stronger than he is and rule a vast empire.
“The king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his princes shall grow stronger still and govern a domain greater than his.
“Then the king of the South will grow strong, along with one of his princes who will gain ascendancy over him and rule; his domain will be a great realm indeed.
“Then the king of the South will grow strong, along with one of his princes who will gain ascendancy over him and obtain dominion; his domain will be a great dominion indeed.
“The king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his princes shall grow even stronger and rule an empire greater than his.
“The king of the South will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger. He will begin to rule his own kingdom with great power.
“Then the king of the south and one of his subordinates will grow strong. His subordinate will resist him and will rule a kingdom greater than his.
“The king of Egypt will become strong. But one of his commanders will become even stronger. He will rule over his own kingdom with great power.
“The king of the South will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger than he and will rule his own kingdom with great power.
‘The king of the South will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger than he and will rule his own kingdom with great power.
“Also the king of the South shall become strong, as well as one of his princes; and he shall gain power over him and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the South will become strong. But one of his leaders will become stronger than he and will rule with much power.
“The king of the south will increase in power, but one of his own officials will become more powerful than he and will rule his kingdom with great strength.
‘Then the king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his officers shall grow stronger than he and shall rule a realm greater than his own realm.
‘Then the king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his officers shall grow stronger than he and shall rule a realm greater than his own realm.
“Then the king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his officers shall grow stronger than he and shall rule a realm greater than his own realm.
“Then the king of the south shall grow strong, but one of his officers shall grow stronger than he and shall rule a realm greater than his own realm.
And HaMelech HaNegev (the King of the South) shall be strong, and one of his sarim (princes), and he shall be strong above him, and will rule; a great rule is his rule.
“Then the king of the south shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he and his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the south shall be strong, but one of his princes shall be stronger than he and his dominion shall be a great dominion.
“Then the king of the south will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger than he, and he will rule a greater kingdom than his.
The king of the south will then grow in power and prosper. Yet in time one of his own officers will become more powerful than he and rule over an even greater empire.
“The king of the south will be strong. One of his princes will become stronger than him, and have dominion. His dominion will be a great dominion.
And the king of the south shall be comforted; and of the princes of him, one shall have power above him, and he shall be lord in power; for why his lordship shall be much. (And the king of the south shall be strengthened; and of his leaders, one shall get more power than him, and he shall be the lord, or the greater, in power; yea, his lordship shall be very great.)
`And a king of the south -- even of his princes -- doth become strong, and doth prevail against him, and hath ruled; a great dominion [is] his dominion.
