The men who had spoken to the king watched Daniel and saw him praying to his God for help.

Wherefore those men carefully watching him, found Daniel praying and making supplication to his God.

Then the officers and rulers who were jealous of Daniel went to see what he would do. They saw that Daniel was praying to God and he was asking God for help.

They went straight to the king and reminded him of the royal decree that he had signed. “Did you not,” they said, “sign a decree forbidding anyone to pray to any god or man except you for the next thirty days? And anyone caught doing it would be thrown into the lions’ den?” “Absolutely,” said the king. “Written in stone, like all the laws of the Medes and Persians.”
Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.
One of those times the men came in as a group and found Daniel praying and pleading to his Elah.
Even after Daniel heard that this law had been signed, he continued his custom of going home to kneel in prayer and give thanks to his God in the upper chamber three times a day, with the windows open toward Jerusalem.
Then these men came by agreement and found Daniel offering a prayer and imploring favor before his God.

Some of the other royal officials went to where Daniel was staying. They saw him praying and asking God for help.

One day the conspirators came to his house and found Daniel on his knees praying and seeking God’s help.
Then these men assembled together, and found Daniel making petition and supplication before his God.
Therefore those men inquired full busily, and found Daniel praying, and beseeching his God.
