When goods increase, they are increased who eat them; and what good is there to the owners thereof, except the beholding of them with their eyes?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them; and what advantage is there to the owner thereof, save the beholding of them with his eyes?
When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what advantage is there to their owners except to see them with their eyes?
When goods increase, they who eat them increase also. And what gain is there to their owner except to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
When good things increase, the ones who consume them multiply; what, then, is the profit to the owner, except to gaze at them with his eyes?
When good things flow, so do those who consume them. But what do owners benefit from such goods, except to feast their eyes on them?
The sleep of a working man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the overfullness of the rich won’t let them sleep at all.
The more you have, the more everyone expects from you. Your money won't do you any good—others will just spend it for you.
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them; and what profit is there to the owner thereof, except the beholding [of them] with his eyes?
Sleep is sweet to a labouring man, whether he eat little or much: but the fulness of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
The more wealth people have, the more “friends” they have to help spend it. So the rich really gain nothing. They can only look at their wealth.
As a person's money becomes more, there are more people who want a share of it. Money does not help the people who have a lot of it. They see it, but it quickly disappears.
When goods increase, so do those who eat them. What profit, then, does the owner get, except to see these things with his eyes?
When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
The more ·wealth [prosperity] people have, the more friends they have to ·help spend [consume] it. So what do people really ·gain [profit]? They ·gain [profit] nothing except to ·look at their riches [admire it].
The sleep of him that travaileth, is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the satiety of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
As the number of goods increase, so do the number of people who consume them. What do owners gain ⌞from all their goods⌟ except ⌞the opportunity⌟ to look at them?
The richer you are, the more mouths you have to feed. All you gain is the knowledge that you are rich.
When good things increase, the ones who consume them multiply; what, then, is the profit to the owner, except to gaze at them with his eyes?
The more wealth a person has, the more friends he has to help him spend it. So what does he really gain? He gains nothing except to look at his riches.
When possessions increase, so does the number of consumers; therefore what good are they to their owners, except to look at them?
When goods increase, those that eat them are increased; and what good is there to the owners thereof, except the beholding of them with their eyes?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the success to their masters except to look on with their eyes?
When prosperity increases, those who consume it increase. So its owner gains nothing, except to see his wealth before it is spent.
The more you have, the more you spend, right up to the limits of your income. So what is the advantage of wealth—except perhaps to watch it as it runs through your fingers!
The more loot you get, the more looters show up. And what fun is that—to be robbed in broad daylight?
When there is an increase of good things, then there is an increase of those who devour them. And what profit have the owners except to see them with their eyes?
As the number of goods increase, so do the number of people who consume them. What do owners gain from all their goods except the opportunity to look at them?
Sleep is sweet to the laborer, whether there is little or much to eat; but the abundance of the rich allows them no sleep.
When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them?
When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look on?
Sleep is sweet to the laborer, whether he has much or little to eat, but the vast riches of a wealthy man do not allow him to sleep.
The more wealth people have, the more friends they have to help spend it. So what do people really gain? They gain nothing except to look at their riches.
When someone’s prosperity increases, those who consume it also increase; so what does its owner gain, except that he gets to see it with his eyes?
As more and more goods are made, more and more people use them up. So how can those goods benefit their owners? All they can do is look at them with desire.
As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?
As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?
When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see them with their eyes?
When there are more good things, there are also more people to eat them. So what does their owner get except to see them with his eyes?
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!
When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, those who eat them increase, and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When hatovah (good things) increase, they are increased that consume them; and what kishron (useful result) is there to the ba’al (owner) thereof, except as an onlooker?
When goods increase, they increase who eat them; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
When goods increase, they increase who eat them; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
The sleep of the laborer is sweet, whether he eats little or much— but the excess of the rich permits him no sleep.
The more goods there are, the more people there are to consume them. How does any of this really benefit the owners except they can gaze proudly on their possessions?
When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes?
Where there be many riches, also many men there be, that eat those (Where there be many riches, there also be many people, who shall eat them); and what profiteth it to the holder, but that he seeth [the] riches with his eyes?
In the multiplying of good have its consumers been multiplied, and what benefit [is] to its possessor except the sight of his eyes?
