Ephesians 4:22

that ye put off, concerning your former manner of living, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
that ye put away, as concerning your former manner of life, the old man, that waxeth corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
that, regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires,
Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion;
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
to take off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires,
change the former way of life that was part of the person you once were, corrupted by deceitful desires.
then, so far as your former way of life is concerned, you must strip off your old nature, because your old nature is thoroughly rotted by its deceptive desires;
You were told that your foolish desires will destroy you and that you must give up your old way of life with all its bad habits.
[namely] your having put off according to the former conversation the old man which corrupts itself according to the deceitful lusts;
that in-relation-to your former way-of-life you lay-aside the old person being corrupted in-accordance-with the desires of deception,
To put off, according to former conversation, the old man, who is corrupted according to the desire of error.
You were taught to leave your old self. This means that you must stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self gets worse and worse, because people are fooled by the evil they want to do.
They taught you to change the way that you live. You must put away the nature that you had before. That old nature deceived you. As a result, you wanted to do things that would destroy you.
As far as your former way of life is concerned, you were taught to take off the old self, which is corrupted by its deceitful desires,
to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,
to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,
You were taught to ·leave [put off; lay aside] your old ·self [L person]—to stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self ·becomes worse [is decaying/being corrupted], because ·people are fooled by the evil things they want to do [L of the deceitfulness of their desires].
That is, that ye cast off, concerning the conversation in time past, that old man, which is corrupt through the deceivable lusts,
You were taught to change the way you were living. The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you.
So get rid of your old self, which made you live as you used to—the old self that was being destroyed by its deceitful desires.
You took off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires;
You were taught to leave your old self—to stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self becomes worse and worse because people are fooled by the evil things they want to do.
Regarding your former way of life, you were taught to strip off your old nature, which is being ruined by its deceptive desires,
But you have learned nothing like that from Christ, if you have really heard his voice and understood the truth that he has taught you. No, what you learned was to fling off the dirty clothes of the old way of living, which were rotted through and through with lust’s illusions, and, with yourselves mentally and spiritually re-made, to put on the clean fresh clothes of the new life which was made by God’s design for righteousness and the holiness which is no illusion.
that ye put off everything concerning the old way of life, that is, the old man who corrupts himself according to deceitful desires,
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
to lay aside, in reference to your former conduct, the old man, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,
that you take off, according to your former way of life, the old man, who is being destroyed according to deceitful desires,
then throw off your old evil nature—the old you that was a partner in your evil ways—rotten through and through, full of lust and sham.
But that’s no life for you. You learned Christ! My assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in Jesus. Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.
that you put off the former way of life in the old nature, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
Regarding your former way of life, you were taught to put away your old self, which is being corrupted and deluded by its desires, ·
You were taught to change the way you were living. The person you used to be will ruin you through desires that deceive you.
that you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires,
that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,
that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,
You were taught to cast aside the old self of your former way of life that had been corrupted by its captivating desires.
You were taught to leave your old self—to stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self becomes worse, because people are fooled by the evil things they want to do.
You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,
You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That’s because it has been made impure by the desire for things that lead you astray.
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
put away the old person you used to be. Have nothing to do with your old sinful life. It was sinful because of being fooled into following bad desires.
throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.
So then, as concerning the former lifestyle, lay away from you that old man, which is corrupt through deceptive desires and affections,
You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,
You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,
You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,
to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,
That teaching stressed that you should take off your former lifestyle, the old humanity. That way of life is decaying, as a result of deceitful lusts.
For the torah you received was that you must disrobe from your former derech of your old self, the one being corrupted according to the ta’avot of AKOV [deceitful, YIRMEYAH 17:9] remiyah (guile)
As for your past life, you are to cast off the old man who is being corrupted through deceitful desires,
Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts,
Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts,
With respect to your former lifestyle, you are to lay aside the old self corrupted by its deceitful desires,
then you know to take off your former way of life, your crumpled old self—that dark blot of a soul corrupted by deceitful desire and lust—
that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
Stop being the person you used to be in your old life. That person was bad because he wanted to do wrong things.
Do ye away by the old living the old man, that is corrupt by the desires of error; [Do ye away after the first living the old man, that is corrupt after the desires of error;]
ye are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,
