Christ did this, so he would have a glorious and holy church, without faults or spots or wrinkles or any other flaws.
that *he* might present the assembly to himself glorious, having no spot, or wrinkle, or any of such things; but that it might be holy and blameless.

Christ died so that he could give the church to himself like a bride in all her beauty. He died so that the church could be holy and without fault, with no evil or sin or any other thing wrong in it.
Christ himself did this to bring us to himself as a beautiful group of his people. His church would belong to him completely. It would be pure, without anything bad to spoil it.
He did this so that he could present her to himself as a glorious church, having no stain or wrinkle or any such thing, but so that she would be holy and blameless.
so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

That he might make it unto himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and without blame.
Then he could present it to himself as a glorious church, without any kind of stain or wrinkle—holy and without faults.
in order to present the church to himself in all its beauty—pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection.
He did this to present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless.
Christ died so that he could give the church to himself like a bride in all her beauty. He died so that the church could be pure and without fault, with no evil or sin or any other wrong thing in it.
and might present the church to himself in all its glory, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind, but holy and without fault.
But, remember, this means that the husband must give his wife the same sort of love that Christ gave to the Church, when he sacrificed himself for her. Christ gave himself to make her holy, having cleansed her through the baptism of his Word—to make her an altogether glorious Church in his eyes. She is to be free from spots, wrinkles or any other disfigurement—a Church holy and perfect.

Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage.

He did it to bring her to himself as a brightly shining church. He wants a church that has no stain or wrinkle or any other flaw. He wants a church that is holy and without blame.
and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Christ did this so the church might stand before Him in shining-greatness. There is to be no sin of any kind in it. It is to be holy and without blame.

That he [as a Choson] might present to Himself [as His Kallah] the Brit Chadasha Kehillah in all her kavod TAMIM (unblemished, SHEMOT 12:5; VAYIKRA 22:20; YESHAYAH 53:7 9; SHIR HASHIRIM) and without wrinkle or any such things, but that she may be kedoshah and without blemish.
So that He might make her a glorious Church to Himself, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. But that it should be holy and without blame.

He gave his life for the church so that one day he can look at the church and see that the people are great and wonderful. The people of the church must have no dirty spot or wrinkle or any thing like that. But they are to be holy and good.
