I have sent him unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
whom I have sent unto you for this very purpose, that ye may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts.
I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know how we are, and that he may comfort and encourage and strengthen your hearts.

I’ve sent him for this reason—so that you will know about us. He can reassure you.
This is the very reason I have sent him to you, so that you may know how we are getting along and so that he may comfort and encourage you.
I want you to know how I am getting along and what I am doing. This is why I am sending Tychicus to you. He is a dear friend, as well as a faithful servant of the Lord. He will tell you how I am doing, and he will cheer you up.

Tychicus, beloved brother and faithful minister, will tell you personally what I am doing and how I am getting on. I am sending him to you bringing this letter for that purpose, so that you will know exactly how we are and may take fresh heart:
