“If thou lend money to any of My people who are poor among thee, thou shalt not be to him as a usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
If thou lend money to any of my people with thee that is poor, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest.
“If you lend money to any one of My people with you who is poor, you shall not act as a creditor (professional moneylender) to him; you shall not charge him interest.
If you lend money to any of My people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor, neither shall you require interest from him.
¶ If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
“If you lend silver to my people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a creditor to him; you must not charge him interest.
If you lend money to my people who are poor among you, don’t be a creditor and charge them interest.
If you take your neighbor’s coat as collateral, you are to restore it to him by sundown,
Don't charge interest when you lend money to any of my people who are in need.

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor, that dwelleth with thee, thou shalt not be hard upon them as an extortioner, nor oppress them with usuries.
“If you loan money to any of my people, that is, the poor among you, don’t be like a moneylender and charge them interest.
You may lend money to any of my people who need help. But do not ask them to pay back more money than you have lent to them. That is what traders in money do.
If you lend money to anyone among my people who is poor, you must not act like a moneylender. You must not charge him interest.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a money-lender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.
“If you lend money to one of my people who is poor, do not treat him as a ·moneylender [creditor] would. ·Charge him nothing for using your money [L Take no interest; Lev. 25:36–37; Deut. 23:19; Ps. 15:5].

“If you lend money to a needy fellow Hebrew, you are not to handle the transaction in an ordinary way, with interest.
“If you lend money to my people, to any of the down-and-out among you, don’t come down hard on them and gouge them with interest.
If you lend money to any of My people who is poor among you, do not be a creditor to him, and do not charge him interest.
“If you lend money to my people—to any poor person among you—never act like a moneylender. Charge no interest.
If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge, you shall return it to him before sunset;

If you ever take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge, you are to return it to him before the sun goes down,

If thou givest money to loan to my poor people, that dwelleth with thee, thou shalt not constrain him as an extortioner doeth, neither thou shalt oppress him by usuries. (If thou lendest money to anyone of my poor people, who liveth with thee, thou shalt not compel him like an extortioner doeth, nor shalt thou oppress him with usury.)
