“‘Because thou hast said, “These two nations and these two countries shall be mine and we will possess it,” though the Lord was there,
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Jehovah was there:
“Because you [descendants of Esau] have said, ‘These two nations [Israel and Judah] and these two lands shall be mine, and we will take possession of them,’ although the Lord was there,
Because you [Edom] said, These two nations [Israel and Judah] and these two countries shall be mine and we will take possession of them—although the Lord was there,
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:
“‘Because you said, “These two nations and two lands will be mine, and we will possess them”—though the Lord was there—
You said, “These two nations and these two territories are mine. We will take possession of them even if the Lord is there.”
“‘Because you say, “These two nations, these two countries, will be mine; we will take possession of them,” even though Adonai is there;
You thought the nations of Judah and Israel belonged to you, and that you could take over their territory. But I am their God,
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it, whereas Jehovah was there:
Because thou hast said: The two nations, and the two lands shall be mine, and I will possess them by inheritance: whereas the Lord was there.
You said, “These two nations and countries, Israel and Judah, will be mine. We will take them for our own.” But the Lord is there!
You said, ‘We will take these two nations for ourselves. Israel and Judah will belong to us.’ You said that when I, the Lord, was there with them.
Because you said, “These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them, even though the Lord was there,”
“Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the Lord was there—
“Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the Lord was there—
“‘You said, “These two nations, Israel and Judah, and these two lands will be ours. We will take them for our ·own [possession].” But the Lord was there.
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them (seeing the Lord was there)
“ ‘You said, “These two nations, Israel and Judah, along with their land, belong to us. We will take possession of them.” But the Lord was there.
“You said that the two nations, Judah and Israel, together with their lands, belonged to you and that you would possess them, even though I, the Lord, was their God.
“Because you said, ‘These two nations and two lands will be mine, and we will possess them’—though the Lord was there—
“‘You said, “These two nations, Israel and Judah, and these two lands will be ours. We will take them for our own.” But the Lord was there.
“Because you have claimed, ‘These two nations and these two lands are going to belong to me, and we will take possession of them, even though the Lord is there,’
¶ Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them, whereas the LORD was there.
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:

“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although Yahweh was there,
I do this because of your saying, ‘The two nations and the two lands, they will be mine, and we will take possession of it,’ and yet Yahweh was there.
“‘For you said, “Both Israel and Judah shall be mine. We will take possession of them. What do we care that God is there!”
“‘Because you said, “These two nations, these two countries, are mine. I’m taking over” (even though God is right there watching, right there listening), I’ll turn your hate-bloated anger and rage right back on you. You’ll know I mean business when I bring judgment on you. You’ll realize then that I, God, have overheard all the vile abuse you’ve poured out against the mountains of Israel, saying, “They’re roadkill and we’re going to eat them up.” You’ve strutted around, talking so big, insolently pitting yourselves against me. And I’ve heard it all.
Because you have said, “These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,” whereas the Lord was there,
“‘You said, “These two nations, Israel and Judah, along with their land, belong to us. We will take possession of them.” But Yahweh was there.
Because you said: The two nations and the two lands belong to me; let us take possession of them—although the Lord was there—
“Since you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there,
“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there,
Because you said, “These two nations and the two lands will be mine, and we will take possession of them,” even though I, the Lord, was there,
“‘You said, “These two nations, Israel and Judah, and these two lands will be ours. We will take them for our own.” But the Lord was there.
“‘You said, “These two nations, these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,” (although the Lord was there);
“ ‘ “You said, ‘The nations of Israel and Judah will belong to us. We will take them over.’ You said that, even though I was there. I am the Lord.
“‘Because you have said, “These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them,” even though I the Lord was there,
‘“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them,’ even though I the Lord was there,
“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there,
“You have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will own them,’ even when the Lord was there.
“For you said, ‘The lands of Israel and Judah will be ours. We will take possession of them. What do we care that the Lord is there!’
Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the Lord was there—
Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the Lord was there—

Because thou hast said, These two Goyim [Israel and Judah] and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; although Hashem was there;
“Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them,’—although the Lord was there—
“Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them,’—although the Lord was there—
“Because you said: ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine! We will possess them’—though Adonai was there—
You keep saying, “We will take possession of these two countries and two nations—Israel and Judah. We will own them.” And you have the nerve to say this right in front of Me!
“‘“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two countries will be mine, and we will possess it;’ whereas Yahweh was there:
For thou saidest, Two folks and two lands shall be mine, and I shall wield those by heritage, when the Lord was there; (For thou saidest, Those two nations and two lands shall be mine, and I shall possess them by inheritance, even though the Lord was there;)
Because of thy saying: The two nations and the two lands are mine, and we have possessed it, And Jehovah hath been there;
