Ezekiel 7:22
Print
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute My secret place; for the robbers shall enter into it and defile it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
I will also turn My face away from them, and they will desecrate My secret treasure (the Jerusalem temple); and robbers will enter [irreverently] into it (the Holy of Holies) and violate it.
Also I will turn My face from them and they shall profane My secret treasure [the temple]; and robbers shall enter into it and profane it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
I will turn my face from them as they profane my treasured place. Violent men will enter it and profane it.
When I hide my face from my people, foreigners will defile my treasured place. Violent intruders will invade it; they will defile it!
I will turn my face away from them; then [Bavel] will profane my secret place, robbers will enter and profane it.
They will break into my temple and leave it unfit as a place to worship me, but I will look away and let it happen.
And I will turn my face from them; and they shall profane my secret [place]; and the violent shall enter into it, and profane it.
And I will turn away my face from them, and they shall violate my secret place: and robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
I will turn my head away from them—I will not look at them. The strangers will ruin my Temple—they will go into the secret parts of that holy building and make it unfit for worship.
Those foreigners and robbers will go into my holy temple. They will cause it to become unclean. But I will look away and I will allow them to do that.
I will turn my face away from my people so that the enemy may desecrate my treasured place, and so that robbers may enter it and desecrate it.
I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.
I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.
I will also turn [L my face] away from the ·people [L house] of Israel, and they will ·dishonor [desecrate; defile; C ritually] my treasured place. Then robbers will enter and ·dishonor [desecrate; defile; C ritually] it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the destroyers shall enter into it, and defile it.
I will turn my face away from the people of Israel, and foreigners will dishonor my treasured place. Robbers will go in and dishonor it.
I will not interfere when my treasured Temple is profaned, when robbers break into it and defile it.
I will turn My face from the wicked as they profane My treasured place. Violent men will enter it and profane it.
I will also turn away from the people of Israel. They will dishonor my treasured place. Then robbers will enter and dishonor it.
I’ll turn my face away from them so that they’ll defile my treasured place. Robbers will enter and profane it!
I will also turn my face from them, and they shall pollute my secret place, for the destroyers shall enter into it and defile it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
I will also turn My face from them, and they will profane My secret place; then robbers will enter and profane it.
And I will turn my face from them, and they will defile my treasured place, and violent ones will enter and defile it.
I will not look when they defile it, nor will I stop them. Like robbers, they will loot the treasures and leave the Temple in ruins.
“‘They throw their money into the gutters. Their hard-earned cash stinks like garbage. They find that it won’t buy a thing they either want or need on Judgment Day. They tripped on money and fell into sin. Proud and pretentious with their jewels, they deck out their vile and vulgar no-gods in finery. I’ll make those god-obscenities a stench in their nostrils. I’ll give away their religious junk— strangers will pick it up for free, the godless spit on it and make jokes. I’ll turn my face so I won’t have to look as my treasured place and people are violated, As violent strangers walk in and desecrate place and people— A bloody massacre, as crime and violence fill the city. I’ll bring in the dregs of humanity to move into their houses. I’ll put a stop to the boasting and strutting of the high-and-mighty, And see to it that there’ll be nothing holy left in their holy places. Catastrophe descends. They look for peace, but there’s no peace to be found— Disaster on the heels of disaster, one rumor after another. They clamor for the prophet to tell them what’s up, but nobody knows anything. Priests don’t have a clue; the elders don’t know what to say. The king holds his head in despair; the prince is devastated. The common people are paralyzed. Gripped by fear, they can’t move. I’ll deal with them where they are, judge them on their terms. They’ll know that I am God.’”
My face also I will turn from them, and they shall pollute My secret place; for the robbers shall enter and defile it.
I will turn my face away from the people of Israel, and foreigners will dishonor my treasured place. Robbers will go in and dishonor it.
I will turn my face away from them. My treasure will be defiled; the violent will enter and defile it.
I will also turn My face away from them, and they will profane My treasure; then robbers will enter and profane it.
I will also turn My face from them, and they will profane My secret place; then robbers will enter and profane it.
I will turn my face away from them while they profane my treasured land; the violent shall enter and defile it.
I will also turn away from the people of Israel, and they will dishonor my treasured place. Then robbers will enter and dishonor it.
I will turn my face away from them, and they will desecrate my treasured place. Vandals will enter it and desecrate it.
I will turn my face away from my people. Robbers will make “unclean” the temple I love. They will enter it and make it “unclean.”
I will turn my face away from the people, and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure. They will enter it and will defile it.
I will turn my face away from the people, and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure. They will enter it and will defile it.
I will turn My face from them, And they will defile My secret place; For robbers shall enter it and defile it.
I will turn My face from them, and they will make My secret place sinful. Robbers will go into it and make it sinful.
I will turn my eyes from them as these robbers invade and defile my treasured land.
I will avert my face from them, so that they may profane my treasured place; the violent shall enter it, they shall profane it.
I will avert my face from them, so that they may profane my treasured place; the violent shall enter it, they shall profane it.
I will avert my face from them, so that they may profane my treasured place; the violent shall enter it, they shall profane it.
I will avert my face from them so that they may profane my treasured place; the violent shall enter it; they shall profane it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall desecrate My treasure; for the robbers shall enter into it [i.e., Yerushalayim], and defile it.
I will turn my face from them, that they may profane my precious place; robbers shall enter and profane it,
I will turn my face from them, that they may profane my precious place; robbers shall enter and profane it,
I will turn My face from them, as they will profane the place I treasure. Robbers will enter it and profane it.
I will turn My head so they may desecrate My treasured place; Pillagers will enter into it, profane it, and vandalize it.
I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.
And I shall turn away my face from them, and they shall defoul my private (place); and knaves shall enter into it, and shall defoul it.
And I have turned My face from them, And they have polluted My hidden place, Yea, come into it have destroyers, and polluted it.
