“‘Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, “As is the mother, so is her daughter.”

“Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb against you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb against you: As is the mother, so is her daughter.
¶ Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
“‘Look, everyone who uses proverbs will quote this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
Now everyone who speaks in proverbs will say this about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb against you, “Like mother, like daughter.”
People will use this saying about you, Jerusalem: “If the mother is bad, so is her daughter.”
Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall speak in a proverb against thee, saying, As the mother, [so is] her daughter!
Behold every one that useth a common proverb, shall use this against thee, saying: As the mother was, so also is her daughter.
“All the people who talk about you will now have one more thing to say. They will say, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
Look! Everyone says that this proverb is true about you: A daughter will do the same things that her mother does.
Hear this! Everyone will speak this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
“Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb about you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb about you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“‘Everyone who uses ·wise sayings [proverbs] will say this about you: “·The daughter is like her mother [L Like mother, like daughter].”
Behold, all that use proverbs, shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
“ ‘Everyone who uses proverbs will speak the following saying against you: Like mother, like daughter.
The Lord said, “People will use this proverb about you, Jerusalem: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“Look, everyone who uses proverbs will say this proverb about you: Like mother, like daughter.
“‘Everyone who uses wise sayings will say this about you: “The daughter is like her mother.”
“Now, everyone who likes proverbs will quote this proverb about you, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
¶ Behold, every one that makes proverbs shall make this proverb regarding thee, saying: As is the mother so is her daughter.
Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
“Behold, everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb concerning you, saying, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
Look! Everyone quoting a proverb against you, he will quote, saying, ‘Like her mother is her daughter!’
“‘“Like mother, like daughter”—that is what everyone will say of you.
“‘Everyone who likes to use proverbs will use this one: “Like mother, like daughter.” You’re the daughter of your mother, who couldn’t stand her husband and children. And you’re a true sister of your sisters, who couldn’t stand their husbands and children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.
Everyone who uses proverbs shall use this proverb against you, saying, “Like mother, like daughter.”
“‘Everyone who uses proverbs will speak the following saying against you: Like mother, like daughter.
See, everyone who makes proverbs will make this proverb about you, “Like mother, like daughter.”
“Behold, everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you, saying, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“Behold, everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb concerning you, saying, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
Everyone who quotes proverbs will use this one in regard to you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
“‘Everyone who uses wise sayings will say this about you: “The daughter is like her mother.”
“‘Observe—everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
“All those who use proverbs will use this one about you. They will say, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“‘Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”
‘“Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
“Indeed everyone who quotes proverbs will use this proverb against you: ‘Like mother, like daughter!’
“Every one who uses sayings will use this saying about you: ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
Everyone who makes up proverbs will say of you, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
See, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb about you, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’
See, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb about you, ‘Like mother, like daughter.’

Everyone who likes to quote proverbs will certainly be quoting this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”

Lo! each man that saith a proverb commonly, shall take it in thee, and shall say, As the mother, so and the daughter of her. (Lo! each person who commonly saith a proverb, shall take it against thee, and shall say, As the mother, and so her daughter.)
Lo, every one using a simile, Doth use a simile concerning thee, saying: As the mother -- her daughter!
