Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.

Inside the cloud, there were four living beings that looked like people.
I could see something like four living things in the middle of the fire. Each of them had the shape of a human.
In the middle of it I saw what looked like four living creatures. This was what they looked like. Each of them had a human appearance,

Deep inside it, the likenesses of four living beings were visible. Their appearances were similar to human forms,

Then from the center of the cloud, four strange forms appeared that looked like men,
I looked: I saw an immense dust storm come from the north, an immense cloud with lightning flashing from it, a huge ball of fire glowing like bronze. Within the fire were what looked like four creatures vibrant with life. Each had the form of a human being, but each also had four faces and four wings. Their legs were as sturdy and straight as columns, but their feet were hoofed like those of a calf and sparkled from the fire like burnished bronze. On all four sides under their wings they had human hands. All four had both faces and wings, with the wings touching one another. They turned neither one way nor the other; they went straight forward.
Also out of the midst came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: They had the likeness of a man.

And of the midst thereof was a likeness of four beasts. And this was the beholding of those, the likeness of a man in those. (And in its midst were the forms of four creatures. And this was their appearance, each one had the form of a man.)
