When he measured the width from the inside of the lower gate to the outer edge of the inner courtyard, it was one hundred fifty feet. After he measured the east gate, he measured the north gate,
He measured at 175 feet the distance from inside this lower gate that faced east to the outside of the inner courtyard, and he did the same for the gate that faced north.
I saw the gates that led to the inner courtyard of the temple and noticed that they were higher than those leading to the outer courtyard. The man measured the distance between the outer and inner gates, and it was 50 meters.
And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.
And he measured the breadth from the face of the lower gate to the front of the inner court without, a hundred cubits to the east, and to the north.
The man measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner courtyard. It was 100 cubits on the east side as well as on the north side.
The man measured across the outside yard. He measured from the lower gate to the higher gate that went into the inside yard. The man measured 50 metres between the two gates.
He measured the width of the pavement from the inside edge of the outer gatehouse to the outside edge of the inner courtyard. It measured one hundred cubits on the east and on the north sides of the temple.
Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, a hundred cubits on the east side and on the north side.

The man measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner courtyard. It was 175 feet from east to north.
There was a gateway at a higher level that led to the inner courtyard. The man measured the distance between the two gateways, and it was 168 feet.
Then he measured the distance from the front of the lower gate to the exterior front of the inner court; it was 175 feet. This was the east; next the north is described.
Then the man measured from the outer wall to the inner wall. The outer court between these two walls was 175 feet on the east and on the north.
He also measured the width from the front lower gate to the front of the exterior inner court at 100 cubits to the east and to the north.
Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, one hundred cubits eastward and north ward.

Then he measured across to the wall on the other side of this court (which was called “the outer court” of the Temple) and found that the distance was 175 feet.
The man then led me to the outside courtyard and all its rooms. A paved walkway had been built connecting the courtyard gates. Thirty rooms lined the courtyard. The walkway was the same length as the gateways. It flanked them and ran their entire length. This was the walkway for the outside courtyard. He measured the distance from the front of the entrance gateway across to the entrance of the inner court: one hundred fifty feet. * * * Then he took me to the north side. Here was another gate complex facing north, exiting the outside courtyard. He measured its length and width. It had three alcoves on each side. Its gateposts and porch were the same as in the first gate: eighty-seven and a half feet by forty-three and three-quarters feet. The windows and palm trees were identical to the east gateway. Seven steps led up to it, and its porch faced inward. Opposite this gate complex was a gate complex to the inside courtyard, on the north as on the east. The distance between the two was one hundred seventy-five feet.
Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.
The man measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner courtyard. It was 175 feet from east to north.
He measured the length of the pavement from the front of the lower gate to the outside of the inner gate, one hundred cubits. He then moved from the east to the north side.
Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gate to the front of the exterior of the inner courtyard, a hundred cubits on the east and on the north.
Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gate to the front of the exterior of the inner court, a hundred cubits on the east and on the north.
Then he measured the width of the court, from the front of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; there were one hundred cubits between them.
Then the man measured from the outer wall to the inner wall. The outer court between these two walls was one hundred seventy-five feet on the east and on the north.
Then he measured the width from before the lower gate to the front of the exterior of the inner court as 175 feet on the east and on the north.
Then he measured from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner courtyard. The east side measured 175 feet. So did the north side.
Then he measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; it was a hundred cubits on the east side as well as on the north.
Then he measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; it was a hundred cubits on the east side as well as on the north.
Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gateway to the front of the inner court exterior, one hundred cubits toward the east and the north.
Then he showed me how far it was from the inside of the lower gate to the outside of the inner open space. Both east and north sides were 100 cubits each.
Then the man measured across the Temple’s outer courtyard between the outer and inner gateways; the distance was 175 feet.
Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, one hundred cubits.
Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, one hundred cubits.
Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, one hundred cubits.

Then he measured the width from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred cubits, both on the east and on the north.
And he meted the breadth from the face of the lower gate till to the front of the inner foreyard withoutforth, an hundred cubits at the east, and at the north. (And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gateway unto the front of the inner courtyard outside, a hundred cubits.)
and he measureth the breadth from before the lower gate, to the front of the inner court, on the outside, a hundred cubits, eastward and northward.
