While the king was asking about the goodwill that Mordecai had displayed, Haman showed up in the courtyard. The king asked, “Who is that out in the courtyard?” Haman had come to speak with the king about impaling Mordecai on the pole that he had set up for him.
While the king was inquiring about the goodwill shown by Mordecai, Haman was in the courtyard. The king asked, ‘Who is in the courtyard?’ Now Haman had come to speak to the king about hanging Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared.
While the king was inquiring about the goodwill shown by Mordecai—Look! Haman was in the courtyard. The king asked, “Who is in the courtyard?” Now Haman had come to speak to the king about hanging Mordecai on the pole that he had prepared.
And the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to speak to the king about having Mor′decai hanged on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
