Hosea 10:3

For now they shall say, “We have no king, because we feared not the Lord. What then should a king do to us?”
Surely now shall they say, We have no king; for we fear not Jehovah; and the king, what can he do for us?
Surely now they will say [in despair], “We have no [true] king, For we do not revere the Lord; And as for the king, what can he do for us [to rescue us]?”
Surely now they shall say, We have no [actual] king because we fear not the Lord; and as for the king, what can he do for us?
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?
In fact, they are now saying, “We have no king! For we do not fear the Lord. What can a king do for us?”
For now they will say: “We have no king, because we don’t love the Lord. What then could a king do for us?”
For now they will say, “We have no king, because we didn’t fear Adonai — and what could a king do for us, anyway?”
“We don't have a king,” you will say. “We don't fear the Lord. And what good are kings?”
For now they will say, We have no king, for we feared not Jehovah; and a king, what can he do for us?
For now they shall say: We have no king: because we fear not the Lord: and what shall a king do to us?
Now the Israelites say, “We have no king. We don’t honor the Lord. And his king cannot do anything to us.”
Soon these people will say, ‘We did not respect the Lord's authority. Because of that we have no king. But even if we had a king now, he could not do anything to help us.’
Certainly now they will say, “We have no king because we did not fear the Lord, but what could such a king do for us anyway?”
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord; and a king—what could he do for us?”
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord; and a king—what could he do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king, because we didn’t ·honor [revere; fear] the Lord [Prov. 1:7]. As for the king, ·he couldn’t do anything [L what could he do…?] for us.”
For now they shall say, We have no King because we feared not the Lord: and what should a King do to us?
So they’ll say, “We have no king because we didn’t fear the Lord. Even if we had a king, he couldn’t do anything for us.”
These people will soon be saying, “We have no king because we did not fear the Lord. But what could a king do for us anyway?”
In fact, they are now saying, “We have no king! For we do not fear the Lord. What can a king do for us?”
Then the Israelites will say, “We have no king, because we didn’t honor the Lord. But even if we had one, he couldn’t do anything for us.”
From now on they will say, ‘We have no king, because we did not fear the Lord— and what would a king do for us?’
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we did not fear the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?
Surely now they will say, “We have no king, For we do not fear Yahweh. As for the king, what can he do for us?”
For now they will say, “We have no king; indeed, we did not fear Yahweh, and what can a king do for us?”
Then they will say, “We deserted the Lord and he took away our king. But what’s the difference? We don’t need one anyway!”
They go around saying, “Who needs a king? We couldn’t care less about God, so why bother with a king? What difference would he make?” They talk big, lie through their teeth, make deals. But their high-sounding words turn out to be empty words, litter in the gutters.
For now they will say, “We have no king, because we do not fear the Lord; and a king, what could he do for us?”
So they’ll say, “We have no king because we didn’t fear Yahweh. Even if we had a king, he couldn’t do anything for us.”
For now they will say, “We have no king! Since we do not fear the Lord, the king—what could he do for us?”
Certainly now they will say, “We have no king, For we do not revere the Lord. As for the king, what can he do for us?”
Surely now they will say, “We have no king, For we do not revere the Lord. As for the king, what can he do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king because we did not serve the Lord. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king, because we didn’t honor the Lord. As for the king, he couldn’t do anything for us.”
Very soon they will say, “We have no king since we did not fear the Lord. But what can a king do for us anyway?”
Then they’ll say, “We don’t have a king. That’s because we didn’t have any respect for the Lord. But suppose we did have a king. What could he do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king because we did not revere the Lord. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us?”
Then they will say, ‘We have no king because we did not revere the Lord. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us?’
For now they say, “We have no king, Because we did not fear the Lord. And as for a king, what would he do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king because we do not fear the Lord. And what could a king do for us?”
Then they will say, “We have no king because we didn’t fear the Lord. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us anyway?”
For now they will say: ‘We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord, and a king—what could he do for us?’
For now they will say: ‘We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord, and a king—what could he do for us?’
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord, and a king—what could he do for us?”
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we do not fear the Lord, and a king—what could he do for us?”
For now they shall say, We have no Melech, because we feared not Hashem; but if we did have a Melech, what could he do for us?
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we fear not the Lord, and a king, what could he do for us?”
For now they will say: “We have no king, for we fear not the Lord, and a king, what could he do for us?”
Surely now they will say: “We have no king, for we have not feared Adonai. The king—what can he do for us?”
Then they’ll say, “We don’t have our own king anymore because we didn’t fear the Eternal One. But even if we still had a king, what could he do for us?”
Surely now they will say, “We have no king; for we don’t fear Yahweh; and the king, what can he do for us?”
For then they shall say, A king is not to us, for we dread(ed) not the Lord. And what shall a king do to us? (And then they shall say, We have no king, for we did not fear the Lord. But what good could a king do for us anyway?)
For now they say: We have no king, Because we have not feared Jehovah, And the king -- what doth he for us?
