·At that time [L In that day] people will say, “·Our God is doing this [L Look/T Behold, this is our God]! We have waited for him, and he has come to save us. This is the Lord. We waited for him, ·so we will [let us] rejoice and ·be happy [be glad; celebrate] ·when he saves us [L in his salvation].”
When it happens, everyone will say, “He is our God! We have put our trust in him, and he has rescued us. He is the Lord! We have put our trust in him, and now we are happy and joyful because he has saved us.”
“And you will say at that time, ‘Look! It’s the Lord! This is our God! We waited for him, and he saved us. This is the Lord! We waited for him, so let us rejoice, and we will be glad that he has saved us.”
Also at that time, people will say, “Look at what’s happened! This is our God! We waited for him and he showed up and saved us! This God, the one we waited for! Let’s celebrate, sing the joys of his salvation. God’s hand rests on this mountain!” As for the Moabites, they’ll be treated like trash, waste shoveled into a cesspool. Thrash away as they will, like swimmers trying to stay afloat, They’ll sink in the sewage. Their pride will pull them under. Their famous fortifications will crumble to nothing, those mighty walls reduced to dust.
And it shall be said in Yom HaHu, Hinei, this is Eloheinu; we have waited for Him, and He will save us; this is Hashem; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and have simcha in His Yeshuah (Salvation).
In that day they will say, “Behold! This is our God! We’ve waited for him, and he saved us! This one, the Lord Yahweh—he is worth the wait! We will keep shouting with joy as we find our bliss in his salvation-kiss!”
And in that moment, at that glorious time, people will say, People: This is our God! We put our hope in him. We knew that He would save us! This is our God, the Eternal for whom we waited. Let us rejoice and celebrate in His liberation.
And they shall say in that day, Lo! this is our God; we abided him, and he shall save us; this is the Lord; we suffered him, and we shall make full out joy, and shall be glad in his health. (And they shall say on that day, Lo! this is our God; we have waited for him, for he shall save us; this is the Lord; we have waited for him, and now we shall rejoice, and shall be happy for his deliverance.)
