Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since thou art laid down, no hewer has come up against us.’
Yea, the fir-trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid low, no hewer is come up against us.
“Even the cypress trees rejoice over you [kings of Babylon], even the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.’
Yes, the fir trees and cypresses rejoice at you [O kings of Babylon], even the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you have been laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.
Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Even the cypresses and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice over you: “Since you have been laid low, no lumberjack has come against us.”
Even the cypresses rejoice over you, the cedars of Lebanon: “Since you were laid low, no logger comes up against us!”
The cypresses rejoice over you, with the cedars of the L’vanon — ‘Now that you are laid low, no one comes to cut us down.’
King of Babylonia, even the cypress trees and the cedars of Lebanon celebrate and say, “Since you were put down, no one comes along to chop us down.”
Even the cypresses rejoice at thee, the cedars of Lebanon, [saying,] Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
The fir trees also have rejoiced over thee, and the cedars of Libanus, saying: Since thou hast slept, there hath none come up to cut us down.
You were an evil king, and now you are finished. Even the pine trees are happy. The cedar trees of Lebanon rejoice. They say, “The king chopped us down, but now the king has fallen, and he will never stand again.”
Even the pine trees and the cedar trees in Lebanon are happy because your power has finished. They say to you, “Now God has knocked you down. So nobody will come again to cut us down!”
Yes, the fir trees rejoice with you, along with the cedars of Lebanon. They say, “Since the time you were humbled, no woodcutter has come to cut us down.”
The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.’
The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.’
Even the ·pine trees [junipers; evergreens; cypresses] ·are happy [rejoice at you], and the cedar trees of Lebanon rejoice. They say, “The king has ·fallen [been laid low], so no ·one [woodcutter] will ever cut us down again.”
Also the fir trees rejoiced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no hewer came up against us.
Even the cypresses rejoice over you. The cedars of Lebanon say, “Since you have fallen, no lumberjack has come to attack us.”
The cypress trees and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice over the fallen king, because there is no one to cut them down, now that he is gone!
Even the cypresses and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice over you: “Since you have been laid low, no woodcutter has come against us.”
Even the pine trees are happy. And the cedar trees of Lebanon rejoice. They say, “The king has fallen. No one will ever cut us down again.”

Even the trees of the woods—the fir trees and cedars of Lebanon—sing out this joyous song: “Your power is broken; no one will bother us now; at last we have peace.”
And now it’s over, the whole earth quietly at rest. Burst into song! Make the rafters ring! Ponderosa pine trees are happy, giant Lebanon cedars are relieved, saying, “Since you’ve been cut down, there’s no one around to cut us down.” And the underworld dead are all excited, preparing to welcome you when you come. Getting ready to greet you are the ghostly dead, all the famous names of earth. All the buried kings of the nations will stand up on their thrones With well-prepared speeches, royal invitations to death: “Now you are as nothing as we are! Make yourselves at home with us dead folks!”

Even the juniper trees rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you have been laid low, no tree cutter comes up against us.’
“Even the cypress trees rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you were laid low, no tree cutter comes up against us.’
The cypresses exult over you, as do the cedars of Lebanon, saying, “Now that you have been laid low, no one approaches to cut us down.”
Even the pine trees are happy, and the cedar trees of Lebanon rejoice. They say, “The king has fallen, so no one will ever cut us down again.”
The evergreens also rejoice over your demise, as do the cedars of Lebanon, singing, ‘Since you fell asleep, no woodsman comes up to chop us down!’
Even the juniper trees show how happy they are. The cedar trees of Lebanon celebrate too. They say, ‘Babylon, you have fallen. Now no one comes and cuts us down.’
Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon gloat over you and say, “Now that you have been laid low, no one comes to cut us down.”

Also (the) fir trees and cedars of the Lebanon were glad on thee; (and said,) Since thou sleptest, none ascendeth that cutteth us down.
Even firs have rejoiced over thee, Cedars of Lebanon -- [saying]: Since thou hast lain down, The hewer cometh not up against us.
