And I will thrust thee from thine office; and from thy station shalt thou be pulled down.
“I will depose you from your office, And you will be pulled down from your position [of importance].
And I will thrust you from your office, and from your station will you be pulled down.
And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
I will remove you from your office; you will be ousted from your position.
I will thrust you from your monument; you will be pulled down from your platform.
“I will remove you from your office, I will snatch you from your post.
The Lord is going to take away your job!
And I will drive thee from thine office, and from thy station will I pull thee down.
And I will drive thee out From thy station, and depose thee from thy ministry.
I will force you out of your position here. Your new leader will take you away from your important job.
I will remove you from your job. You will no longer be an important officer in the palace.
I will expel you from your office. You will be thrown out from your position.
I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station.
I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station.
I will force you out of your ·important job [office], and you will be thrown down from your ·important place [position].’
And I will drive thee from thy station, and out of thy dwelling will he destroy thee.
“I will remove you from your office and do away with your position.
The Lord will remove you from office and bring you down from your high position.”

“Yes, I will drive you out of office,” says the Lord, “and pull you down from your high position.
The Master, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, spoke: “Come. Go to this steward, Shebna, who is in charge of all the king’s affairs, and tell him: What’s going on here? You’re an outsider here and yet you act like you own the place, make a big, fancy tomb for yourself where everyone can see it, making sure everyone will think you’re important. God is about to sack you, to throw you to the dogs. He’ll grab you by the hair, swing you round and round dizzyingly, and then let you go, sailing through the air like a ball, until you’re out of sight. Where you’ll land, nobody knows. And there you’ll die, and all the stuff you’ve collected heaped on your grave. You’ve disgraced your master’s house! You’re fired—and good riddance!

I will see to it that you’re driven from your post, toppled from your position, with all the disgrace and shame that you deserve.
